This porcelain sucrier or covered sugar bowl was produced in Paris, France in the late 18th century. It is unmarked with the exception of some incised unidentifiable marks. It has a height of 5 1/2 inches and a diameter of 4 1/2 inches. There are ring handles on each side of the bowl. It has elaborate hand gilding with garlands of flowers and pots filled with flowers. This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in France by Haviland & Co. Limoges in the 1890s. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/2 inches and is 7/8 of and inch high. The cup is 2 1/8 inches high. The style of decoration is reminiscent of work done at the Sevres factory. The ground color is cobalt blue. A very well hand painted on porcelain dessert plate depicting blackberries with leaves and canes in the well of the plate. A thin band of black and gilt marks the edge of the lip which is decorated with a shaped band of grey, separated from a band of maroon band by thin lines of black and white separated by a slightly thicker band of textured gilding. A rare early 18th century French porcelain figure after an early Japanese piece, Edo period. The 5" model of a seated boy holding a peach is beautifully enameled in the Imari palette. A fine addition to a historical porcelain collection.

There is some damage; the tip of the boy's tongue is missing, as is the tip of the little finger of his right hand. The left hand has been broken and repaired, three finger tips are missing. This may be seen in the sixth photograph.

This is a beautiful Limoges cabinet plate, ca.1890, bearing the Limoges mark of the Coiffe porcelain factory as well as that of Guerin-Pouyat-Elite; featuring molded borders in pale blue within gilt rims and centered with a delicately handpainted spray of lilacs; condition: excellent, no chips, cracks, or crazing; gilt on rims is faded; measurement: 9 inches diam.

A Sevres porcelain cup and saucer from the Second Empire (1852-1870) painted with flower garlands with a gilt scallop border and monogrammed with what appear to be the initials A.D. Diameter of saucer is approximately 4 ½ inches (10.2cm) and height of cup approximately 2 ½ inches (5.1cm).

Condition: Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.

Delicately painted rose garlands and the high quality porcelain create a pleasingly pretty set.

This ceramic bowl was produced in France by Longwy in the late 19th century. It is not signed, but the workmanship and style of the bowl are characteristic of the Longwy factory. It measures 5 1/4 inches across the top and 3 1/4 inches high. The bowl is 3-lobed and stands on 3 little feet. The ground color is a deep cobalt blue. There are pink and blue carnations with foliage surrounding the entire bowl. All of the decoration is incised and colored with bright enamels...

A porcelain plate decorated with floral sprigs and bouquets with a shaped rim decorated with gilt dentil edge marked on the underside with a “B” in underglaze blue. 9 inch (23 cm) diameter. This short lived porcelain factory, roughly 1776-1781, had the Duc d’Orleans (cousin of the King Louis XVI) as its patron.

Condition: no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Some wear to the gilding and a little stacking wear.

Lovely Rococo bowls of lobed shape. A Sèvres model and Sèvres style decoration of rose heads and other flowers, and gilt sprigs. Painted and scratched mark Nid(erviller) in greyish black to both bowls, indicating a production date between 1793 and 1800. Diameter 8”/20 cm. Condition: some rubbing to the gilt decoration, a hairline to one bowl and a Y-shaped crack visible from the back (as seen on photo).

A stunning hand painted porcelain bowl with a gold trimmed scalloped rim was made by the Tressemann & Vogt company in Limoges, France between 1892-1907. Artist signed, the design, use of gold throughout, and selection of colors from the rich royal blue band with contrasting orange flowers to the band of blush along the rim is just fabulous. Measures 9.5" diameter x 4.5" high.

A Blue and White Limoges Compote or Tazza with Gilt Floral Pattern; by Victor Etienne & Fils. Dimensions 9.5" inches in diameter and 6" high. Late 19th century and Excellent condition.

This pair of earthenware vases was produced in France by Paul Milet in the 1890s. They measure 8 3/8 inches high and the diameter of the opening is 2 ½ inches. The decoration is the epitome of Art Nouveau design. Anemones bend and sway while turquoise dragonflies hover overhead. Clover-like turquoise colored leaves encircle the bases of the two vases. The decoration is in relief simulating cloisonné. The colors are dazzling. Condition: Excellent

A French porcelain octagonal vase and cover after a Kakiemon original by Samson of Paris, 19th century. This is very close to the original as can be seen when compared to a pair of vases on ormolu stands in the Tokyo National Museum.

This porcelain two piece stamp box was produced in France by Tressemann & Vogt in the 1890s. The box is 4 1/4 inches long, 2 3/4 inches wide and 3 inches high, including the handle. The box has the artist’s initials on the bottom. The porcelain blank was sold white ware and decorated by a studio artist. There are three compartments inside the box to hold stamps. The ground color shades from mint green to almost white. There are vibrantly colored roses tumbling across the top of the box...

An oval fluted French faience dish with an oval well in the center decorated with polychrome flowers and insects and a purple rim. Painted on the back inside the foot, “No: 4.” The mark and the decoration are typical of Strasburg circa 1740. The well in the center indicates that the dish was probably the undertray for a small tureen. It is 9 x 7 x 1/3/4 inches (23 18 x 4.5 cm)

Condition: Generally good with little wear. Small chips on the rim at the four extreme points.
