This porcelain bowl was produced in France by Pouyat Limoges around 1900. The bowl measures 7 inches in diameter and 3 1/2 inches high. The bowl has a puffy, blown-out shape, and three fancy gold feet. The decoration is in art nouveau style. It is a transfer design of baskets of flowers spilling over the edge. There are also roses and ribbons in the design...

An Excellent Porcelain Armorial Inkstand or Deskset, made by Edme Samson et Cie, Paris, circa 1880. In a Rectangular Shape, with Two Inkwells, with Inserts. Dimensions; 10.25" wide x 7,75" deep x 3.5" high. In excellent shape, except for a slight chip on on of the inkwell tops (see picture). There is no mark on the underside, but it is definitely Samson, based on other items we have recently posted.

A pair of porcelain plates with a maroon and gilt border and complex bouquet of flowers in the center. Hand painted. On the back in a printed scroll, "ED. HONORE" and address, Boulevard Poissoniere Number 6. The mark is the same as the mark on the china that the company provided for the White House in 1846/47 to President Polk. 8 and 3/4 inches (22 cm) diameter.

This porcelain jardinière was produced in France by Bernardaud & Co. Limoges between 1900 and 1914. The porcelain was sold white ware to a studio artist to be decorated later. The artist’s signature is in the decoration. The jardinière is approximately 12 inches in diameter and 8 1/2 inches high. It is hand painted with brightly colored chrysanthemums in art nouveau style. The ground color is mint green that shades from lighter to a bit darker from top to bottom...

An oval and domed porcelain plaque with enamelled flowers in a gilt and Bleu Céleste framework. The ”heavenly blue” colour was a speciality for Sevres in the 18th century and revived in the 19th during the reign of Napoléon III. The gilt flower wreath is tooled, to show the texture of the little flower petals, and the large flower motif is excellently painted. This porcelain dresser tray was produced in France by Jean Pouyat Limoges around 1914. It has an underglaze mark and an overglaze mark indicating that the porcelain and decoration are from that factory. The tray measures 12 1/2 inches long and 10 1/2 inches wide. The border has an irregular shape so that the length and width are calculated to the best of our ability. The tray was created in the art nouveau style with flowing lines in decoration and shape...

This porcelain sucrier or covered sugar bowl was produced in Paris, France in the late 18th century. It is unmarked with the exception of some incised unidentifiable marks. It has a height of 5 1/2 inches and a diameter of 4 1/2 inches. There are ring handles on each side of the bowl. It has elaborate hand gilding with garlands of flowers and pots filled with flowers. The gilding is superb. There are two reserves on the sides of the bowl containing vibrantly colored baskets of flowers...

We believe this porcelain box was produced in France at the Sevres factory in the late 1700s. It is unmarked. The quality of the painting and the workmanship of the doré bronze rim have led us to this conclusion. The box measures 3 inches long, 2 1/4 inches wide and 1 3/4 inches deep. Nicely decorated with hand painted floral bouquets and sprigs on a hard paste porcelain a trembleuse cup, cover and saucer. The rims are dental gilt as are the fruit and leaves knop and two handles. No marks but French in form and decoration from around 1780. Saucer is 6 ¼ inches (15.5 cm) diameter and 1 ½ inches (4 cm) tall. The cup is 4 inches (10 cm) tall and 5 ½ inches (14 cm) across the double handles.
