A Dutch delft heart shaped strainer on three short pointed feet and with attached handles at either end. Old Pat Guthman Antiques label on the base with the price of $550. 3inches (7.5 cm) tall, 5 inches (12.5 cm) wide and 7 ½ (19 cm)inches long.

Condition: Minor glaze chips, a small chip to the body on the underside and part of one foot missing. Good condition for the age and the softness of tin glazed earthenware.

A very nice shape for a strainer. SOLD

A Large and Impressive Hand Painted Dutch Delft Vase. Eight reserves; four large ones of a bird and four lesser ones of a stag. Label on the base says "De Oude Moriaans Hoult (The Old Moors Head) Holland Delft (the mark) 1759". This refers to the potters mark, which was first used in 1759 (the Old Moors Head dates from 1648). Dimensions; 16" high, approximately 4.5 pounds in weight. Normal wear for Delft.

Unusual tile of a seated man in a flat cap holding a fishing pole while his wife in a bonnet cap seated beside him looks at him. A charming scene. The tile has tapered sides.5 ¼ inches (13.5 cm) square. ½ inches (1.5 cm thick).

Condition; major old restoration to the upper left corner, similar restoration along the right edge in the column and other very minor chips.

I think this is a fairly rare format with the columns and arch. The figures have a certain humor and art.

A thick tapered sided tile decorated in blue of a man in a hat swinging a colf club at a ball with the post that is the target of the game in the distance. There is no decoration in the four corners. Colf was a Dutch game that may have been the predecessor to golf. The tile is approx. 4 7/8 inches 912.5 cm) square and 3/8 inches (1.2 cm) thick.

Condition: major chip to the upper left corner, smaller chips around the edges and a number of small pock-marks in the glaze on the face of the tile...
