Very nice vintage South Jersey glass paperweight featuring a frit design of an ivy-covered blue cross against an opaque white ground. The foreground has a wave-like frit design. The opaque ground is most unusual in a South Jersey weight. The crown rises quite high into a pronounced cowlick more typical of New England weights. The bottom has a pontil mark and slight basal concavity, and there is an incised line around the periphery at the top edge of the opaque ground.

This pretty shaker is made from emerald-green glass with a gold-toned metal top. It is unmarked, but we were told by a glass specialist that it is from England, and circa 1900. The container fluoresces a gentle-green under black-light - so, its glass-blank is of late 19th century or early 20th century Bohemian origin.

This fine Ruby Block goblet was made by several manufacturers during the 1880s and beyond. It features hexagonal blocks surrounded by diamond "cuts", but it is pressed glass of course, made in 4 parts, the bowl being fused to the stem.
