A superb and extremely rare bucket bowl wine goblet with an everted lip. The stem is an 8 sided molded pedestal type, also known as a Silesian stem. What makes it particularly uncommon is that it is not straight, but is wrythen molded, with the additional rarity of diamond molding at the shoulders...

A very nice English Georgian wine glass with a round funnel bowl, the lower half being molded with flutes. The stem is of the double series opaque twist type (DSOT) and is comprised of a pair of multi-ply corkscrews outside of a pair of spiral threads. Conical foot with a snapped pontil.

The entire glass is engraved, with foliage, German writing, a crown, and the date "1876" on the bowl, foliage and writing on the foot, and foliage even on the knop. The glass stands 7 1/2 inches tall, with a bowl diameter of 2 3/8 inches and a foot diameter of 3 inches. Good color, striations, and tool marks, with a rough snapped pontil. Wonderful condition with no flaws or restoration.

A classic Sandwich glass hyacinth vase in a rich amethyst shade. The vase is entirely hand blown, shows the traces of hand marvering. The deeply concave base has a rough pontil and a basal ring showing the expected wear. Hyacinth vases, sometimes called tulip vases or bulb vases, were used to force flowering bulbs for wintertime blooms indoors. They were quite the rage and some Victorian homes had numbers of vases arrayed on windowsills. Pieces by Sandwich are uncommon...

A fine and stately Dutch armorial wine goblet engraved with the arms of Hohenlohe. The thistle bowl of this glass shows two leopards passant within a crowned shield surrounded by fronds. A narrow band of engraving encircles the rim. The heavy bottom of the bowl has an enclosed tear, as does the huge inverted baluster knop below the bowl. The foot is domed and folded, with a rough snapped pontil...

A rare pale green Dutch or German roemer with a large cup bowl above a wide hollow stem flaring out to a folded foot. Immediately beneath the bowl is an applied milled collar above a section with applied strawberry prunts, below which is another collar.

This huge example is 8" tall, with a bowl diameter of 5" and a foot diameter of 4 1/2"...

These 6 crystal cups and saucers were produced in Bohemia by Theresienthal around 1900. The saucers measure 5 inches long and 4 ½ inches wide. The cups are 2 inches high with a diameter of 2 ½ inches. They are made of hand blown glass with leaded content. They ring when tapped. The saucers are leaf shaped in clear green glass with gold veins painted on them. The cups are opaline glass, hand blown in the shape of a tulip with hand enameling for color...

Offered is this beautiful English cameo glass vase, made most likely by Thomas Webb & Sons around 1900 - look at the quality and details of the cameo work. The vase is 6 inches (15 cm) tall and 4 1/2 inches (11,5 cm) wide. Except for a minor rim-flake (see last picture) and a fabrication flaw where the cutting wheel slipped momentarily (see picture - probably Webb didn't sign the piece because of that fabrication anomaly), the vase is in very good condition...

Low green pastel compote by Tiffany, the 5 7/8 inch diameter compote is 1 3/4 inches tall. The compote has an opalescent diamond pattern and the green rim is rolled to the underside of the bowl. The signature “1964 L. C. Tiffany” is inscribed on the foot and there is a broken pontil mark.

A lovely cobalt blue blown glass hyacinth or bulb vase in the classic cone shape. The flared rim was intended to hold a hyacinth or other bulb just above the water line to root. Forcing bulbs was a popular Victorian pursuit and hyacinth vases were lovely adornments for kitchen and conservatory windows. The quality of glass is very good and cobalt blue is a desirable color. The bottom has a sheared pontil.

A large, signed, Steuben gold Aurene bowl - it is 9 3/4 inches wide and 4 inches tall. Fine condition. Polished pontil. Signed, 'Aurene 2851'.

Beautiful Loetz vase with gold and pale blue oil spots, sits in footed pewter base with art nouveau flowers going around it. Measures 7" tall x 5" wide and is in perfect condition.

An amber colored vase with an etched and gilt “Oroplastic” frieze of Amazon warriors, the base facet cut. The Oroplastic decoration method was introduced by the Moser glass company around 1915. It became a great success, totally in line with the emerging Art Deco style. Signed Made in Czechoslovakia Moser Karlsbad. Height "3 ¾ / 9.5 cm. Condition: fine.

This set of 6 cut crystal cordial glasses were produced in Bohemia by Moser in the late 19th century. The glasses measure 3 3/4 inches high and the diameter of the opening is 2 3/4 inches. The glasses are hand cut and have panels of amber glass in panels around the outside. Vermicelli gilding covers the rest of the surface of the glasses. The scalloped foot of each glass is cut with a star. Condition: There is wear to the gilded surfaces from use.
