This crystal glass was produced in Europe in the late 19th century. It was probably made by a Bohemian firm. There is a signature but we were unable to identify the maker. The glass is 8 inches tall and the diameter of the bowl is 2 3/4 inches. It is made of hand blown crystal and the stem is hand cut. The gilded enamel decoration is extremely fine and detailed. A goblet, presumed to be made by Riverside Glass Works as early as 1906 as pattern number 593. It has a caramel color, not a common find.

Please be aware that this pattern is known by several names such as Old English Colonial, Blucher, and Colonial, in part due to the change of ownership of the molds, during the first quarter or so of the 20th century, during which three companies owned them. As such we are unable to warrant the maker.

Early flint glass water goblet on round foot with thin stem rising to cylindrical bowl wheel etched with flowers and leaves. Excellent condition.

The goblet belonged to the collection of Lenna Gertrude Clarke Judd (1865 - 1939) who moved from New York City in 1903 to Dalton, Georgia where she became a well respected philanthropist through out the sate. We have the complete provenance from Mrs Judd down to the present.

A unusually fine example of a scrambled weight by the New England Glass Company. The weight includes latticinio twists and millefiore canes. The set-up includes a complex red, white and blue cane (visible through the concave bottom of the weight) formed of a heart silhouette surrounded by stars. A very good fruit bouquet paperweight by the New England Glass Company. Four pears alternate with cherries and foliage around a central pear. The lampwork fruit is particularly nice in this weight. The bouquet is presented against a spiraling double latticinio basket. The dome is high and offers nice magnification. The crystal is a bit sugary, as is typical of many NEGC weights.
