Offered is this exceptional and rare 'Astglas with Coral (Corallenaste)' glass vase with an iridescent application, made by Loetz around 1900 (please refer to Loetz.com for similar-decor vases). The vase / rose bowl is 4 inches (10 cm) wide and 3 3/4 inches (9,5 cm) high. It is in wonderful condition, without chips, cracks or repairs. Polished pontil. Unsigned, as expected. It has 8 inner-folded undulations on top, which are typical of Loetz.

The tray is 12 1/2 inches (32 cm) long (to handle-tip), 10 1/4 inches (26 cm) wide at its widest and 2 1/2 inches (6,5 cm) high ( 3 3/4 inches, or, 9,5 cm, tall at handle). The tray is in fine condition (there is a spurious 'LCT' mark on the bottom, and, it was factory-polished on the bottom so that the tray would sit flat on a table). Polished pontil. Each vase is 13 3/4 inches (35 cm) tall and 5 3/4 inches (14,5 cm) wide at the widest. A stunning footed cut glass compote in Hawkes’ “Delft Diamond” pattern. While the pattern is not especially ornate, the deep emerald green color of the blank is amazing. The knopped stem has an elongated airtrap bubble that’s difficult to see because the color of the glass is so rich. The plain round foot is acid-stamped with Hawkes’ trefoil signature, which would suggest a relatively early date.

A lovely art glass cabinet vase with cameo decoration in the “Thistle” pattern by Daum. The glass has elegant mottled coloring with dark peach and amber. The rim and foot are enhanced with gilt edging. The bottom of the base is signed in gilt script and bears the cross of Lorraine. This example is finely carved and makes very nice use of the layers of color.

A well proportioned and elegant baluster wine glass dating from the period of George I. This fine example features a trumpet bowl over a collar directly over an annulated knop. The stem leads into a true baluster knop over a short section over a folded foot with a rough, snapped pontil.

The condition is excellent, with no issues and with good color, tooling marks, and striations. The height is 5 7/8", with a bowl diameter of 2 3/8" and a foot diameter of 2 3/4".
