Very rare, dating circa 1820, American cut lead crystal wash basin and water pitcher set. Possibly by Bakewell Glass of Pittsburgh, the set is in excellent condition, no chips, no cracks, no repairs. The bowl measures 7.5" high x 16.25 diameter. The pitcher measures 12.5 inches high.

English or Irish wine glass or rummer, Georgian, c 1830. The cup and stem are slice cut, the knop diamond cut or faceted and the foot star cut. Height "4 ½ / 11.3 cm. Condition: fine.

A pair of heavy Bristol wine glasses, peacock blue. Mouth blown and made around 1800 – 1810, the rim softly rounded. The pontil mark of one glass removed by grinding. Removal of the pontil mark was often done on lead “finer” glass (the lead allowed for cut designs). On the other glass the mark is deeper and so is still there, despite grinding. Height "4 ½ / 11.5 cm. Condition: fine.

This crystal beaker or cup with silver lid was produced in Eastern Europe in 1810. There is a date engraved on the glass. We do not know who the maker was. It is 5 1/2 inches high and the diameter of the opening is 3 1/4 inches. The beaker is hand blown and cut from fine crystal. This crystal glass was produced in Europe in the late 19th century. It was produced by a Bohemian glass manufacturer. It is unsigned. The glass is 6 1/2 inches high and the diameter of the bowl is 4 1/8 inches. The crystal is hand blown and the stem is hand cut. The decoration is raised enamel gilding. A large glass shade in the 'chipped ice' pattern, made by Handel around 1900. The shade is 8 1/2 inches tall, 4 1/4 inches wide and has an opening of 3 3/4 inches. It is in fine condition. It is signed, 'Handel 2916'.

Beautiful Peachblow glass Pair - these were souvenirs sold at the Chicago World's Fair in 1893. The glass pear is 5 inches high and 2 1/2 inches wide. The glass is in fine condition.

Phenomenal Art Nouveau crystal shallow bowl, the bottom with intaglio engraving of a large pansy blossom. The flowers petals are beautifully handpainted in shades of burgundy and then gilt. The flower is surrounded by translucent foliage. The scalloped rim of the bowl is gilt to coordinate with the floral decoration. This piece, with its single large flower, is much more assertive than the more common small reverse-carved pieces such nappies and short compotes...

A pair of Victorian vaseline opalescent glass epergne bowls. This fine pair of blown molded bowls date to the 1880s. These 5" diameter bowls stand 2-3/4" high and their bases are 3" across (under the collar of pressed leaves). They are unmarked and they have polished bases; they are in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than a barely visible 1/16" shallow flake to a rib on the base of one bowl...

Offered is this wonderful, hand-painted, Victorian glass epergne. The epergne is 10 3/4 inches tall and 5 1/2 inches wide at its widest. The set is in very good condition (there is a fabrication flaw typical of hand-made glass items, a burst bubble - see last picture). Unsigned.

A Mt. Washington scalloped rim bowl decorated with orchids. The 3 3/4 inch diameter, 2 3/4 inch tall satin finish bowl has subtle diagonal ribs and a polished pontil mark. The color shades from pale lavender on the flared rim to colorless at the bottom. The coloration appears similar to the bowl shown in plate 10-17 on page 243 in Wilson’s “Mt Washington & Pairpoint Glass” and the decoration matches that on the sugar shaker in plate 10-18 of the same book.

Extremely rare oil lamp featuring a base of mercury glass decorated with floral painting and satin finishing. The floral decoration is an autumnal design depicting leaves and wheat in shades of brown, gold, green and cream, accented with cornflowers in blue and small orange flowers. Flint EAPG ale goblet in the "Colonial" pattern, probably by the Boston & Sandwich Glass Company. The goblet has a very attractive, narrow form. Nice clarity.

This cut overlay crystal decanter and 6 glasses was produced in Bohemia in the late 19th century. The decanter measures 15 1/2 inches tall including the stopper. The glasses are 4 1/8 inches high and the openings are 2 3/4 inches in diameter. The glass is hand blown and ruby cut to clear with frosted wheel-engraved areas. Intricate scenes of game birds in the forest encircle each piece. This set would compliment a room with a rustic hunting theme...

Offered is this rare iridescent glass vase in a metallic stand, made by Loetz around 1899 - the vase is done in their Phanomen Genre 6893 decor. Beautiful colors on the vase. An attractive 19th century Victorian art glass basket. This unsigned 8-3/4" high quality basket features a ruffled-edge custard glass body with clear cranberry glass edging; the clear naturalistic glass handles resemble crossed branches (one has two spurs). The pontil is polished. It has a nice fiery glow when back-lit, and this Victorian art glass piece is in excellent original condition with no cracks, losses, damage or repairs. An early Phoenix Art Glass hobnail sandwich peachblow pitcher. Graduating from shades of pink to yellow/cream, this pitcher features an applied clear satin reeded handle. A delightful piece to add to you collection, it is in excellent antique condition and measures 4.5 inches high x 5" diameter. Dates 1880's.

Beautiful New England Glass Company Plated Amberina tumbler. This rare tumbler is 3 3/4 inches tall, 2 3/8 inches in diameter at the base and 2 ½ inch diameter at the top. This nicely colored piece shades from red at the top to pale yellow at the base, cased over a pale cream liner. There are nine vertical ribs on the tumbler, a polished pontil mark and the rim is fire polished.

A very unique 14 sided paperweight with an interior sculpture having a latticino base supporting stranded cage housing a green glass bubble. Its quality workmanship is accented by the beveled edges on the top and bottom. In excellent condition and unsigned. Please note that the glass is slightly yellow, due in large measure tot he yellow glass rods. Our images suggest a clearer brighter glass, but that is not the case when viewed in normal light. This gem was the product of the Gundersen-Pairpoint Company in the mid 20th century, but ended up the collection of an avid glass addict. For serious collectors, we can offer limited but very interesting provenance for this and other goblets we are selling from a socially prominent philanthropist who settled in north Georgia and died in 1939.
