Very Rare 18th century English double knopped air twist wine glass with a stem featuring a pair of white spiral threads outside a vertical gauze, multi-ply spiral cable. Dating early 20th century is this perfect Moser crackle glass pitcher with opposing sides featuring enameled scenes of a heron in a natural setting. The crackle glass is a champagne color and the the enameling is rich and vibrant, large polished pontil is on bottom. Measures 5 1/2 inches high. A beautiful piece for the collector of Moser or crackle glass.

This stunning Victorian tomato glass basket by Boston & Sandwich Glass Company is made from two layers of cased glass, a tomato or orange-red color over yellow with an applied clear single twist thorn handle and 4 applied clear feet. An unusual feature is that top rim of the bowl folds over and is studded with large tomato hobnail bumps ending with a crimped edge which finishes with a narrow clear band. Rare 19th century Irish cut crystal footed master salt with a fluted body and a handsome roll over collar. The bottom of the foot has micro abrasions. A pair of blue glass vases, Pearline from Davidson’s in Gateshead, England. Pearline, an opalizing pressed glass launched by Davidson’s, was very much en vogue c 1890 – 1910. Height "4/ 10.2 cm. Condition: fin (please observe that what might look like cracks to the base in the photos are mould traces).

A clear glass scent bottle of profiled shape, mouth blown in a mold, the white enamel decoration underlining the contours of the design. Made around 1850 and probably Scandinavian. Height including stopper "6 ¼ / 16 cm. Condition: small nick to the underside of the mouth rim.

Rare miniature French etched cameo vase of a lake landscape scene. Signed "Muller Fres Luneville". One vase's primary color is grape red, the other is forest green. Although not marked, this art glass piece bears the styling and quality of Victorian pieces made by the Stevens and Williams Ltd of England and in the 1870s under the direction of John Northwood (son Harry Northwood was a glass maker in America). The body is an oval pill-shaped translucent light turquoise glass with an open oval top that is bordered with a scalloped ribbon crest. At each narrow end is a small applique of amber glass. Moser hand blown lime green fading to clear vase embellished with 3 rows of applied prunts, a wide diamond cut band, a plethora of gold enameled scroll work and floral designs throughout. The base or foot is softly paneled. In excellent condition, no cracks, no repairs, no chips, minimal wear to gold gilt on lip, it measures 8.5 inches high. Dates circa 1890-1910.

Very rare, dating circa 1820, American cut lead crystal wash basin and water pitcher set. Possibly by Bakewell Glass of Pittsburgh, the set is in excellent condition, no chips, no cracks, no repairs. The bowl measures 7.5" high x 16.25 diameter. The pitcher measures 12.5 inches high.

This pair of wine glasses was produced in Bohemia by Moser in the 1880s. They are 5 ¾ inches high and the diameter of the opening is 2 inches. The glasses are hand blown and have leaded content so that they ring. The glasses are hand enameled in exquisite fashion. All of the enamel is raised. Elaborate gilding fills in the spaces in between. Tiny pink roses dangle from the bottom of the bowl and down the stem. Rows of white enamel dots encircle the foot of the glasses...

These 6 crystal cups and saucers were produced in Bohemia by Theresienthal around 1900. The saucers measure 5 inches long and 4 ½ inches wide. The cups are 2 inches high with a diameter of 2 ½ inches. They are made of hand blown glass with leaded content. They ring when tapped. The saucers are leaf shaped in clear green glass with gold veins painted on them. The cups are opaline glass, hand blown in the shape of a tulip with hand enameling for color...

These 12 champagne tumblers were produced in Bohemia by Moser before 1890. They measure 3 ¾ inches high and have a diameter of 2 3/16 inches in diameter. The glass is hand blown with polished bottoms. They have a leaded content so that they ring. The base color of the glass is bright cranberry. Each glass is elaborately hand enameled with tiny flowers and buds you can feel. Straps of gold create cartouches containing flowers...

This glass demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Bohemia by Moser in the 1880s. The saucer is 4” in diameter and the is cup 1 ½” high. A tall Georgian ale glass with an elongated ogee bowl raised on a double series opaque twist (DSOT) stem containing a pair of heavy spiral threads outside of a loose lace twist.

The glass stands 8 1/8 inches tall, with a bowl diameter of 2 1/4 inches and a wonderful wide stance foot diameter of 2 7/8 inches. Good color, striations, and tool marks, with a conical foot with a rough snapped pontil. Wonderful condition with no flaws or restoration.

These 10 crystal champagne glasses were produced in Bohemia, part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire in the late 19th century. The specific maker is unknown. The glasses are 5 11/16 inches high and have a diameter of 3 ¾ inches. They are hand blown crystal and have hand cut stems. The stem of the glass is hollow for a reason. When champagne is poured into this type of glass the bubbles come up like a volcanic eruption...

A fine example of an antique air twist glass. The pointed round funnel bowl is engraved with a fruiting vine, and raised on a multiple spiral air twist (MSAT) stem above a conical foot with a rough pontil.

The condition is excellent, with no chips, scratches, or restoration. Good color, striations, and tooling marks. The height is 6 1/8" with a bowl diameter of 2 3/8" and a foot diameter of 2 5/8".

A beautiful 18th century glass sweetmeat with a dentated (cogwheel) rim (21 teeth) on a double ogee bowl above a multiple spiral opaque twist stem with a shoulder inverted baluster knop. The foot is radially rib molded with a rough, snapped pontil.

Condition is excellent with good tooling marks and color. The height is 3 3/8 " with a bowl diameter of 4 inches and a foot diameter of 2 1/2".

A lovely antique emerald green Moser style glass perfume bottle comprised of three layers of glass (light mint green white, emerald green, clear) with gold enamel scroll work. With some minor loss to gold gilt commensurate with age and the end of the stopper is broken, this is considered to be in very good antique condition.. Measures 6.75" high, body 3" diameter, 2" diameter at foot. Czechoslovakian circa 1880.

A fine pair of mirror image blue opaline glass vases with enameled butterflies and flowers. Attributed to Thomas Webb & Sons, these date circa 1860-1880. The vases are in excellent antique condition with only loss to the gilt on the rims and an area on the back. Measures 12.75" high x 5.5" diameter. A truly beautiful and rare find.

This high standard compote is of extra generous size to show off its many virtues. The bowl is McKee and Brothers (1853-99) Shell pattern also known as Fans with Diamonds. It would date to c. 1880.

The ring of the lid and its weight indicate lead or flint. It is decorated with beautifully designed stippled fruits such as pears, cherries, apples, and berries with detailed leaves.

This glass bowl and under plate was produced in Bohemia, now the Czech Republic, by the Moser Glass Studio in the 1880s. The under plate measures 7 inches in diameter. The bowl is 4 1/2 inches in diameter and 2 3/4 inches high. It is made of hand blown ruby colored glass with leaded content. The shape and design has an Islamic feel. Vines of clematis are painted with raised enamel you can feel. Borders of white with tiny blue enamel beads accent the borders. A band of brushed gold, accent...

A deep cobalt blue salt or sweetmeat, probably of German origin. The bowl has a silvered everted rim with silver leaf decoration and is above an inverted baluster stem. Rough pontil. No condition problems, and with a maximum diameter of 4" and a height of 3 1/2".

A Victorian diamond cut crystal scent or perfume bottle, barrel shaped, c 1900. Length "2 /5.5 cm. Condition: stopper not belonging.

Blue satin overlay ever vase, thorn handled and decorated with hop bines in enamels and gilt. Bohemian / Czech, late 19th century, probably Harrach. Height "8 / 20 cm. Condition: fine.

A pair of Bohemian / Czech Harrach 1880s blue gray opaline mugs with enameled floral decoration, the handles reeded and gilt. Height "3 ½ / 9 cm. Condition: fine.

A pair of heavy Bristol wine glasses, peacock blue. Mouth blown and made around 1800 – 1810, the rim softly rounded. The pontil mark of one glass removed by grinding. Removal of the pontil mark was often done on lead “finer” glass (the lead allowed for cut designs). On the other glass the mark is deeper and so is still there, despite grinding. Height "4 ½ / 11.5 cm. Condition: fine.

A heavy Bristol green rummer, the stem with a nice grip, and a wine glass. Mouth blown and made around 1810, the rims softly rounded. The pontil mark of the wine glass removed by grinding, while it is still left on the rummer. Some little air bubbles, the rim of the wine glass with a mark from the tongs used to cut the bowl loose from the pontil. Height "5 ½ / 14 cm and "4 / 11 cm respectively. Condition: fine, except for a minimal scratch mark to the bowl of the rummer.

A beautiful decanter set composed of 3 barrel shaped decanters, each heavily cut and retaining the original target stoppers. The stand is electroplate silver and of elegantly molded trefoil form, with rings to hold the stoppers.

Both the stand and decanters are in excellent condition, the glass without chips, etc., and the stand with little to no bleeding. The height is 10" and the width is 9".

21114688 A very nice 8 ½ inch tall Galle cameo banjo form vase. The red over colorless over opal vase has a motif of cherries and leaves. The vase is signed as seen faintly in photograph C. The neck of the vase is 5/8" in diameter and the flat bulbous bottom is 2 3/8" wide and 1 ½” deep. The vase is in wonderful condition.

21124692 A very pretty Mount Washington satin finish Burmese jar decorated with daisies. The jar is 3 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter. There is no lid, but otherwise in excellent condition. There are several examples of this piece shown in Wilson’s “Mt. Washington & Pairpoint Glass” volume 1 and Sisk “Mt. Washington Art Glass.”

An unsigned Daum Nancy miniature creamer enamel decorated with fuchsia on a frosted ground. The creamer is 3 inches tall, 3 inches wide and 1 1/4 inch in depth. There is a polished pontil mark and there is no damage.

Beautiful New England Glass Company Plated Amberina tumbler. This rare tumbler is 3 3/4 inches tall, 2 3/8 inches in diameter at the base and 2 ½ inch diameter at the top. This nicely colored piece shades from red at the top to pale yellow at the base, cased over a pale cream liner. There are nine vertical ribs on the tumbler, a polished pontil mark and the rim is fire polished.

A pair of pressed glass beakers, Victorian, mid19th century. Blue, tending towards turquoise and very finely modeled, the bases with foliate rims. Height "3 ½ / 9 cm. Condition: fine.

A rarely seen Dorflinger Kalana Poppy cordial measuring only 3 ½ inches tall. The cordial has vertical ribbing and is perfect.

Very rare pair of amethyst cut glass hatpin holders. Not to be mistaken for shakers, the bottoms are open and not designed for a plug. In excellent condition, they measure 6" high and 3.25" diameter.

A pair of unmarked Wave Crest “Daisy” salt shakers. The flat rims of the shakers are decorted with a dainty floral pattern and the undersides of the bases are embossed “Patented June 2 1891." The shakers are perfect and are 2 ½ inches in diameter.

This fine Ruby Block goblet was made by several manufacturers during the 1880s and beyond. It features hexagonal blocks surrounded by diamond "cuts", but it is pressed glass of course, made in 4 parts, the bowl being fused to the stem.

Known by many names and made by many companies, this goblet is unusual because the top is ruby stained, a reversal of the usual placement. Souvenir of Lewistown, PA is faintly scripted. We guarantee it to be antique.

An unsigned Webb Burmese petal topped vase enameled with the Jules Barbe designed Japanese Berry or Woodbine pattern of 1887. The vase 3 inches tall and in excellent condition.

A Mt. Washington scalloped rim bowl decorated with orchids. The 3 3/4 inch diameter, 2 3/4 inch tall satin finish bowl has subtle diagonal ribs and a polished pontil mark. The color shades from pale lavender on the flared rim to colorless at the bottom. The coloration appears similar to the bowl shown in plate 10-17 on page 243 in Wilson’s “Mt Washington & Pairpoint Glass” and the decoration matches that on the sugar shaker in plate 10-18 of the same book.

A fire polished early Galle vase of orange florals on a colorless ground. Th \e top of the vase has a tricorner rim. The 3 3/4 inch tall vase is engraved with a mark used during the period from 1890 to 1894.

An uncommon and fine English wine glass with a pan top round funnel bowl atop a multiple spiral air twist (MSAT) stem with a medial swelled knop. Lead glass, rough snapped pontil.

No condition issues at all, and with excellent color, striations, and tool marks. The glass is 6" tall, with a bowl diameter of 2" and a nice foot diameter of 2 3/8".

A rare goblet made in the Gothic Revival style by the legendary French glass firm Compagnie des Cristalleries de St Louis. The deep relief and substantive weight betray its fine origins. A graceful stepped strap-handled pitcher of lead glass, featuring trailed threading at the rim, and engraved "RFE" with vines above ribbons, the reverse with flowering vines.
