Offered are these two beautiful, hand-painted Victorian glass ewers. The amber-colored thumbprint jug is 8 3/4 inches tall and 6 3/4 inches wide. The Mary Gregory one is 8 inches tall and 7 inches wide. Both ewers were blown (has pontil-bottoms - see last two pictures) and are without chips, cracks or repairs. Both jugs fluoresce a gentle green when exposed to long-wavelength black-light, showing that they are made of late 19th century soda-lime glass blanks.

A fine glass cocktail shaker by Hawkes. The glass blank is blown in an optic paneled style and highlighted with gilding at the neck. The body is beautifully enameled with a colorful rooster and the reverse side is engraved with the recipe for a "Bronx" cocktail. The stopper is finished with floral intaglio engraving. The The double-lip form of the shaker is very similar to the shape Hawkes used for oil & vinegar cruets...

Patented January 1890. What is unusual about this lamp is that it is a finger lamp, too. That is a safety feature.

This crystal and silver overlay vase was produced in the USA by Mathews Company of Newark, New Jersey, around 1907. There is a hallmark from this company and the silver content, 999/1000 is stamped on the foot. The vase is 14 inches tall and the opening has a diameter of 3 5/8 inches. The hand blown crystal is emerald green. It is decorated with elaborate silver overlay. There are large poppies on four sides, surrounded by flowing foliage in the loveliest art nouveau fashion...

A pair of Steuben Ivrene candlesticks shape #7564. The oval candlesticks are signed and are 3 1/4 inches tall.

An American Brilliant Period (1876-1916) Cut Crystal and Sterling Rim Center Bowl. the Bowl is Hallmarked by The Stone Sterling Silver Company, New York (1896-1903). Dimensions; 10.25" diameter x 5" high. Very minor dings in the silver rim (barely noticeable) but other wise in excellent condition. No problems in the glass.

Flint EAPG ale goblet in the "Colonial" pattern, probably by the Boston & Sandwich Glass Company. The goblet has a very attractive, narrow form. Nice clarity.

Offered is this pair of Mt Washington Burmese glass vases with applied handles in their 'Egyptian' pattern. A nice late Victorian South Jersey (Vineland/Millville area) glass paperweight with a frit “Home Sweet Home” design. The set-up is worked entirely in white frit and has few nice features including potted plants on the lawn, a picket fence, and a Y-shaped sidewalk. The glass is clean and has good magnification. This gem was the product of the Gundersen-Pairpoint Company in the mid 20th century, but ended up the collection of an avid glass addict. A beautiful, hand-painted creamer and sugar set in ornate Wilcox quadruple-plated silver holders. Both pieces of glass are decorated with flowers, butterflies, etc. The metallic holders have superb wrap-around decor. The creamer is 5 1/4 inches wide and 4 3/8 inches high, while the sugar container is 4 1/2 inches wide and 4 1/4 inches high. Exquisite cut glass flower centre bowl in the Glenwood pattern by J. D. Burgen, 1899. This bowl was made in three sizes, and this 12 inch one is the largest of the three. It is in perfect original condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs. It is referenced and pictured in the Encyclopedia of American Cut and Engraved Glass by Michael Pearson, Volume 1, page 58.

A very fine and rare antique glass paperweight by Pairpoint. There sphere encloses a translucent red and opaque white double twist within a cloud of controlled bubbles. The foot is engraved in a design known as "Pattern No. 220". Pairpoint called this design "Veneti" and used it to produce candlesticks, compotes, vases and stemware. Veneti paperweights are quite uncommon.

From our Fine Arts and Americana Collection, a very fine example of late 19th - early 20th century intaglio cut crystal, depicting a floral wreath on one side with floating flowers on the other side, “jeweled beveling” to the rim and foot, and all very well-cut and elegantly made. A nice addition for fin de siecle crystal and glassworks collectors. This piece is actually a lot prettier than our pictures seem to capture: We find crystal pieces like this very difficult to photograph well.

A beautiful Findlay Onyx glass celery vase, made by Dalzell, Gilmore & Leighton company, around 1889. The vase is 6 1/2 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches wide. Except for the usual roughness around the rim, typical of Findlay Onyx glass items, it is in fine condition.

A fine mid-19th century pressed glass paperweight in the form of a recumbent lion resting on an opaque glass base. The lion is beautifully detailed and finished in a frosted surface. This lion is similar to one produced by Gillinder for the 1876 Centennial Exposition, but it is much more finely made. The underside of the black base is impressed “490”.
