A pretty Victorian mercury glass vase in tapered and ribbed columnar form with a foot. The body has a matte surface decorated with a pretty bouquet of blue and white flowers. The vase has a nice small size that is not easy to find.

Origin: Bohemia, ca. 1870. Condition: excellent, a tiny area of oxidation near the base of the bouquet, no plug. Size: 6-1/8” tall.

A superb and top quality example of Austro-Hungarian glassmaking at its finest. This is a set of six shell shaped cranberry glass nut dishes c1900 with crisp molding and lush encrusted gold decoration. Attributed to Moser, this set is certainly of the expected quality but we can't definitively confirm this. The set consists of the deep 9-1/2" long and 7-1/8" wide master nut bowl as well as five matching 4-1/2" long and 3-3/8" wide individual nut bowls...

A bulbous little pitcher or jug and a small mug, both north Bohemian c 1800 or somewhat earlier. The white Milchglas or Milk glass enameled in the style of Meissen or Sèvres porcelain - often in the “Famille rose” colors seen on this pitcher - was an appreciated export from Bohemia (present Czech Republic). This crystal glass was produced in Europe in the late 19th century. It was produced by a Bohemian glass manufacturer. It is unsigned. The glass is 6 1/2 inches high and the diameter of the bowl is 4 1/8 inches. The crystal is hand blown and the stem is hand cut. The decoration is raised enamel gilding. There are baskets of flowers and fruits with swirls and swags. The quality of the workmanship is superb. Condition: Excellent

A very unusual Bohemian zwischengoldglass liquor glass, the bottom featuring an inset gilt and enameled design of a ladybug. The panel cutting along the beaker’s sides causes the design to be visually repeated. Small beakers such as these are normally decorated with a flower. This is the only example we’ve seen with an insect. The ladybug traditionally symbolizes good luck, so perhaps that's why it appears here.

This glass demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Bohemia by Moser in the 1880s. The saucer is 4” in diameter and the is cup 1 ½” high. The cobalt blue glass is hand blown and has a leaded content so that it rings. It is decorated with hand painted raised enamel in pastel colors on a gilded ground. Condition Excellent

A beautiful, hand enameled cup-and-saucer set, made by either Moser or Monot & Stumpf (of France). The under-plate is 4 3/8 inches (11 cm) wide, while, the cup is 3 1/2 inches (9 cm) wide and 1 3/4 inches (4,5 cm) tall. They are both in fine condition. There is slight fluorescence when they are subjected to long-wavelength UV light - so, they were probably made around 1900.

A nice Bohemian mercury tapered columnar-form mercury glass vase, the sides engraved through a bright red flashing to the silver. The pattern depicts a bird nesting among exotic flower and foliage. The design is accented with applied white lines. The silvering is not in as good condition as one would hope, but the very bright red flashing and the generous size more than makes up for it!

Offered is this exceptionally beautiful, hand-enameled in ruby flashing, glass pokal or covered jar. The jar is 11 inches (28 cm) tall and 4 1/4 inches (10,5 cm) wide and is in excellent condition. It has a 32-point star-cut base. There are a number of raised glass cabochons surrounding the body of the pokal. Offered is this exceptional and rare 'Astglas with Coral (Corallenaste)' glass vase with an iridescent application, made by Loetz around 1900 (please refer to Loetz.com for similar-decor vases). The vase / rose bowl is 4 inches (10 cm) wide and 3 3/4 inches (9,5 cm) high. It is in wonderful condition, without chips, cracks or repairs. Polished pontil. Unsigned, as expected. It has 8 inner-folded undulations on top, which are typical of Loetz.

This is an intensely iridescent, glass shade, made by Loetz around 1903. As were typical of Loetz products, the shade is unsigned, but it is guaranteed to have been made by Loetz. This shade-shape is shown on page 342 in the catalog of cut-out paper patterns of Ricke, Ploil & Mergl's book, 'Loetz - Bohemian Glass 1880-1940'. The Form/Shape of the shade is: 1090/65...

A beautiful glass vase with 'chariot decor', made most likely by Moser. The vase is 8 1/4 inches (21 cm) tall and 6 inches (15 cm) wide at the top. It is in good condition (some flea-bites at bottom-rim from usage). The vase is artist-signed, Brandt'. Unsigned, but made most likely by Moser - usage of gold and platinum in the decor is a particular Moser trait.

This glass bowl and under plate was produced in Bohemia, now the Czech Republic, by the Moser Glass Studio in the 1880s. The under plate measures 7 inches in diameter. The bowl is 4 1/2 inches in diameter and 2 3/4 inches high. It is made of hand blown ruby colored glass with leaded content. The shape and design has an Islamic feel. Vines of clematis are painted with raised enamel you can feel. Borders of white with tiny blue enamel beads accent the borders...

Offered is this beautiful hand-painted jug or decanter (9 1/2 inches or 24 cm in length), made probably by Moser. There is beautiful enameling on the container. There is damage to the duck's beak (a long flake and chip - see last two pictures). The container fluoresces a gentle-green under black-light - so, its glass-blank is of late 19th century or early 20th century Bohemian origin.

A beautiful, hand-painted, diamond-quilted Bohemian wine glass. The amber-colored glass has transparent cabochons on it. The glass is 4 5/8 inches (12 cm) tall and 3 1/4 inches (8 cm) wide. It is in fine condition. It fluoresces in a gentle-green coloration - typical of late 19th century or early 20th century glass objects.

A striking example of a Bohemian Rococo Revival baluster goblet, with a high domed foot. The entire glass is engraved, with foliage, German writing, a crown, and the date "1876" on the bowl, foliage and writing on the foot, and foliage even on the knop. This crystal glass was produced in Europe in the late 19th century. It was probably made by a Bohemian firm. There is a signature but we were unable to identify the maker. The glass is 8 inches tall and the diameter of the bowl is 2 3/4 inches. It is made of hand blown crystal and the stem is hand cut. The gilded enamel decoration is extremely fine and detailed. A pair of beautiful, hand-painted glass vases made by Bohemian master, Moser. The amber-colored, ribbed glass vases have blue-colored applied scroll-feet and lava-drippings from the top rims. Each vase is 12 1/4 inches (31 cm) tall and 5 1/2 inches (14 cm) wide. Except for a couple of chips on the blue-glass applications of one vase (see last two pictures), which are typical of these old applied-glass vases, the vases are in decent condition...

This glass powder jar was produced in Bohemia by Moser in the late 19th century. It is 4 inches in diameter and 3 inches high. The hand blown glass is colored light blue. It is hand enameled with a lacy floral pattern on the lid. There are gilded panels on the top edge and bottom with colored enamel decoration. They are mounted with a gilded metal hinged frame. A (Ludwig) Moser Three Handled Loving Cup, Circa 1870-1895. It is Green Glass with a Blue, Pink Yellow and White Enamel and Gilt Floral Design All Over, including the handle. From Karlsbad in Bohemia, now the Czech Republic. Dimensions; 7" high x 4.75" width at the top and 6" to handles. Excellent condition.

A pair of Milchglas / milk glass cups and saucers with flower decoration in gaudy enamels, made around 1760. Relief moulded wth ribbed and diamond-patterned sides and applied foot rims. The model is to be found in the Corning glass museum collections and elsewhere as originating from the glassworks of Flühli in Swiss Luzern. Diameter of saucers "5 ¼ / 13 cm, of cups "3 ¼/ 8 cm. Condition: one cup with old and yellowed glue repair (cf. pics).

A sentimental Bohemian souvenir or memento flashed red glass mug, with a nicely curved handle. Etched with flowers and the saying "To My Son." In superb condition, standing 4 1/8 inches tall, with a diameter of 2 3/8 inches.

This glass is a companion piece to g1217, identical except for the floral arrangement on top of the cartouche surrounding the saying.

This glass jug was produced in Bohemia by Josephinenhutte around 1895.  It was probably decorated by Fritz Heckert.  The jug measures 8 1/2 inches tall.  The stretch type glass is hand blown with an applied handle.  It is hand decorated with raised enamels in Middle Eastern style.  It is a handsome example of Bohemian art glass. Condition:  The ring of gilding around the foot shows some wear.  It is otherwise in excellent condition. 

Offered is this rare iridescent glass vase in a metallic stand, made by Loetz around 1899 - the vase is done in their Phanomen Genre 6893 decor. Beautiful colors on the vase. Offered is this beautiful, hand-painted, cut, cased glass (three-layer casing: white on the outside, cobalt on the inside and clear in-between) vase. It is 5 1/2 inches (14 cm) wide and 3 1/2 inches (9 cm) high. It is in excellent condition. The clear-glass pontil was left partly polished, since it is recessed (see last picture). unsigned - could have been made by either Moser, Pfohl or another Bohemian maker.

Offered is this beautiful, Bohemian cameo glass vase, made by Wilhelm Kralik, around 1920. The vase depicts a wrap-around water scenery. The vase is 10 inches (25 cm) tall and is in excellent condition (no chips, cracks or repairs - a few bubbles, typical of blown glass objects, see 9th picture). Polished pontil. Unsigned, but guaranteed to have been made by Kralik (similar Kralik cameo glass vases are at Passau Museum - see last two pictures for your convenience).

An impressive and well-designed antique Bohemian glass paperweight. The bullet-shaped weight encloses a large central red, white and blue lily surrounded by three smaller lilies, all emanating from a speckled glass pot at the base. The area just above the pot has a thin film of green glass to suggest foliage. The weight is ornately faceted into a bullet-shape. The glass is quite heavy and clear. The coloring tends toward grayish-yellow, as is typical of Bohemian weights of the period.

Offered is this beautiful, cranberry-colored Bohemian glass vase with hand-painted porcelain plaque of a beautiful young lady. Except for the expected fading of the gilt and bottom scratches, the vase is in very good condition. Polished pontil. The vase is 4 inches (10 cm) wide and 3 1/8 inches (8 cm) tall.

Six dessert or salad bowls of square shape, pinched. Iridescent and all with a swirl except for one which is more iridescent than the rest. Early 20th century, Art Nouveau and probably Czech, by Loetz. Polished pontils. Height appr. "2 / 5 cm, width (diagonally) "5 / 12.5 cm. Condition: fine.

These 10 crystal champagne glasses were produced in Bohemia, part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire in the late 19th century. The specific maker is unknown. The glasses are 5 11/16 inches high and have a diameter of 3 ¾ inches. They are hand blown crystal and have hand cut stems. The stem of the glass is hollow for a reason. A Moser cranberry perfume or cologne bottle that is nicely enameled with some wear to the gold scrolls in the reserves. The stopper and the bottle both bear a small gold “5" indicating that these have always been together.

A beautifully executed flashed and engraved covered goblet depicting scenes from the Teplitz and other resorts. The goblet has 6 panels, one of which has the location and date, another with initials, and 4 showing, in wonderful detail, various buildings with their names. The color of the flashing is a deep rich red, which I lightened so that the details could more easily be seen.
