Antique 19th century, a fine example of a French hand-blown and cut amethyst glass vase, attributed to the prestigious Baccarat manufacture.

The vase is a true masterpiece of craftsmanship, with a canted ovoid baluster shape that elegantly tapers towards the bottom. Its flared neck and scalloped rim add to its grace and charm. The intricate empire-style ornaments of the vase have been cut and gilt to perfection, and the overall balance of the design is simply mesmerizing...

A gorgeous Napoleon III white opaline glass baluster-form vase with an everted apple green opaline rim and an applied molded green opaline foot with knopped and ribbed decoration. The overall design is very pleasing and the color contrast is stunning. The quality is comparable to Baccarat, although the vase was probably made at a competing cristallerie.

Origin: France, ca. 1860. Condition: excellent, all original, no cracks or chips. Size: 10-1/2” tall.

Offered is this exquisitely beautifully hand-painted, French opaline glass perfume bottle. The perfume is 11 1/2 inches (29 cm) tall. Except for a couple of minute flakes on the bottom of the lid that are typical of these old perfume bottle lids (see last picture - the flakes are concealed when the lid is in place), the bottle is in very good condition. The lid-bottom and the bottle's pontil-bottom have numbers (the bottle's number is too faded to decipher what it is - see pictures)...

This glass vase was produced in Bohemia 1870-1880 by Harrach. The vase is 8 inches high and the widest point has a diameter of 4 inches. The glass has a layer of pink glass over white opaline glass. It has three applied ball feet. It is hand enameled with a bird on a branch surrounded by flowers. The enameling is beautifully detailed with vibrant colors. There is a sprig of flowers on the back on the vase. The rim is trimmed with gilding that has black enamel accents...

A beautiful French hand-painted opaline glass portrait vase on a metallic (bronze or brass) frame, made around 1890. The vase is 9 inches (23 cm) wide and 7 3/4 inches (20 cm) tall. Good condition with age-appropriate gilt loss.

Three perfume bottles: a very small white opaline bottle with a gilt border, probably a sampler, a clear glass bottle with long neck and exquisite gilding and a white opaline bottle with a fan motif in blue. The smallest probably French, Second Empire, the two others late 19th century – the clear glass bottle probably Italian. No stoppers. Height "2 ¼ - 4 ½ / 5.5 – 11.3 cm. Condition: fine.

An impressive and charming green-tinged very large champagne flute with a conical bowl above a bladed knop, all surmounting a hollow baluster knop. Soda glass with scattered bubbles, as expected.

Rare miniature French etched cameo vase of a lake landscape scene. Signed "Muller Fres Luneville". One vase's primary color is grape red, the other is forest green. Unique blue French crystal decanter set with exquisite white enamel and gold decoration. The set contains a decanter, cup and dish. This set is widely used for placement by the bedside if one wanted a glass of liquid in the middle of the night.

A marvelous and very rare Victorian patchbox, the body carved from a single piece of ivory and the cut crystal lid enclosing a cameo incrustation (“sulphide”) depicting a pansy. A ribbon tied around the flower’s stem reads “a moi”. This is a clever play on words. The French word for pansy is “pensé”, which is very nearly the same word used to mean “thought”. So, when combined with the words on the ribbon, the sulphide expresses the sentiment “Thoughts of me”...

A wonderful and very rare Baccarat cut crystal perfume bottle in a simple panel cut enhanced with blue opaline “gems”. The lip of the bottle is cut in a deep petal shape. The stopper matches the décor of the bottle. Though known as “opaline” now, this type of glass was called “agate glass” when it was created at Baccarat in 1842. This pale blue color was called “bleu celeste” (“heavenly blue”)...

A pair of Napoleon III green-cased cut crystal perfume or cologne bottles by Cristalleries de Saint Louis. A Wonderful French Opalescent Crystal Center Bowl on Tripod Legs Formed of Tulips Bulbs. By Edmund Etling; Made at Choisy-le-Roi Glassworks near Paris-Cataloge number 151. Signed Etling France 151. Dimensions 8" in diameter x 2.75" high. The flowers and leaves are quite detailed underneath the bowl, with three tulips forming each of the tripod legs. Excellent condition. From the early 1900's.

Uniquely shaped Galle vase with his signature. Floral inspired design. This acid etched cameo vase contains several layers of glass. The base color is a frosted olive green. The acorns and stems are shades of plum and lavender. The top portion of the vase contains lighter tones of olive green. Signed Galle. Circa 1900.

A classic Baccarat cut crystal perfume bottle in a blue-cut-to-clear cane pattern. While several American and European companies cut this pattern, the stopper of this bottle is a known Baccarat design. It appeared in a Baccarat pattern book under the name “Stella.” The stopper has a blown teardrop in the interior and is accented with a star pattern at the top. Baccarat products were marked only with a paper label until logo until around 1930.

A beautiful, facet-cut, paperweight perfume bottle, probably made by either Baccarat or St Louis. The bottle is 7 1/2 inches (19 cm) tall and is in fine condition. Unsigned.

An elegant Art Nouveau glass vase decorated with enameled poppies. The blossoms are worked in shades of cream, yellow, rose and violet, while the foliage is stained a reddish-purple and highlighted with complex lacy gilding. The upper rim is decorated with a band of stained and gilt flowers, as well. The vase is blown in pillar form with an optic paneled design. The workmanship is very fine. Unsigned, but definitely made by Mont Joye (also know as Verreries Saint-Denis and Legras).

A lovely art glass cabinet vase with cameo decoration in the “Thistle” pattern by Daum. The glass has elegant mottled coloring with dark peach and amber. The rim and foot are enhanced with gilt edging. The bottom of the base is signed in gilt script and bears the cross of Lorraine. This example is finely carved and makes very nice use of the layers of color.

Offered is this beautiful French cameo glass vase made by Andre Delatte of Nancy (a contemporary of Daum of Nancy), around 1920. The vase is 5 1/4 inches (13 cm) tall and is 3 3/4 inches (9,5 cm) wide at the base. It is in very good condition. It is cameo signed, 'A. Delatte Nancy' (the 'Nancy'-part is faded). It is also artist signed by, what looks like, 'Michel-Mel Harbe' (see last picture).

This crystal dresser jar was produced in Belgium in the early 20th century. It is not signed but we believe it was made by Val St. Lambert. We have seen this pattern before. The jar measures 3 3/8 inches in diameter and 2 1/8 inches high. The crystal is hand blown and cut with panels and star bursts. The lid has floral decorations that are acid etched from green to clear. The workmanship is very fine and detailed. Condition: Excellent

Offered is this very rare Daum Nancy Pate de Verre snail figurine, made around 1920 (while Argy-Rousseau and Amalric Walter pate de Verre figurines come up to the marketplace on a somewhat regular basis, one rarely encounters an original Daum Nancy Pate de Verre figurine). A fire polished early Galle vase of orange florals on a colorless ground. Th \e top of the vase has a tricorner rim. The 3 3/4 inch tall vase is engraved with a mark used during the period from 1890 to 1894.

An unusually fine Baccarat pansy glass paperweight from the Dupont era. The blossom is nicely worked with deep purple upper petals and mustardy-yellow lowers. The flower is centered with a complex cane star rods encircling a red and white bull's-eye rod. The flower is accented with ten finely-veined leaves in an unusually bright green color and a well-formed bud. The concave base is finished with a 16-rayed star that visually extends all the way to the periphery when viewed through the dome....

A pair of good opaque opaline vases lavishly decorated with bouquets and sprigs of hand painted flowers as well as gilt rings at the top and around the foot. The bases with slightly hollow ground pontils. The style is typical of the French from the middle of the 19th century. Height 11 ¾ inches (30 cm).

Condition: no damage to the glass, some wear to the gilding around the top, especially on one.

A lovely antique crystal plaque by Baccarat encasing a sulphide or "cameo incrustation" of the "Madonna and Child". This particular sulphide is one of the two known depictions of Mary and Jesus used by Baccarat during the classic period of paperweight production. Stunning cut Bohemian glass powder jar with top-notch polychrome enameling. The lid is decorated with a wonderful scene of an 18th century gentleman surrounded by bowers of flowers. The sides of the jar are decorated with a wreath of flowers and acanthus leaves. The sides are cut in a St-Louis diamond pattern. The rims of both the jar and the lid are gilt.
