It is in good condition (age-appropriate gilt loss), without chips, cracks or repairs. The vase is ribbed and has bubbles inside, typical of old glass items. An extremely fine NLB Newcastle light baluster wine glass with superb engraving of two clasped hands. Jacob Sang often used such a motif and the engraving is definitely of Sang quality, though, being unsigned, it is impossible to definitely attribute it to him. The pointed round funnel bowl sits atop a stem with a shoulder knop and a tear-filled medial inverted baluster knop...

As this glass is almost an exact match with item #g1261, but with a very slightly larger bowl and foot, the description is the same: elegant in its form, and beautifully fashioned, this is a 7 1/4" tall English wine flute. The drawn trumpet bowl leads into a multiple spiral air twist (MSAT) stem above a conical foot with a rough, snapped pontil. The bowl diameter is 2 9/16" and the foot diameter is 2 7/8"...

Extremely rare piece of Heisey that was in a drug store in the midwest in the late 1800s. It has stayed in the same family all these years. It measures 29" tall and in very good condition for its age. It does have a small chip on the rim of the bottom plate, and there are stains on the top plate that need to be taken out, although its not something I do. Other than that and a few extremely minor rough edges, its in great shape. I have never seen a piece like this before, nor have I seen one...

A rare and beautiful double series opaque twist wine glass. The bowl, of uncommon tulip form, sits atop a stem containing two heavy spiral threads around a central gauze. What makes this glass rare, aside from the bowl shape, is that, opposed to being conical, as is usually the case, the foot is domed, a feature very rarely found on opaque twist glasses.

This fine example is 6 1/8" tall, with a bowl diameter of 2 7/16", and a foot diameter of 2 5/8". Condition is excellent, with no chips, crac...
