Offered is this rare and beautiful cameo glass lamp, made by Mt Washington around 1890. The lamp's bottom part is cameo cut while the shade is hand painted. The lamp is artist-signed by 'Alfred Howell'. Originally, it used to be an oil lamp that has been electrified. Overall, the lamp is 20 1/2 inches tall. A beautiful, hand-painted art glass vase, made probably by either Moser or Mont Joye. The vase is 10 1/4 inches (26 cm) tall and 4 1/2 inches (11,5 cm) wide at the bottom. It is in good condition (age-appropriate gilt loss), without chips, cracks or repairs. The vase is ribbed and has bubbles inside, typical of old glass items. The vase fluoresces a gentle-green when subjected to long-wavelength black-light - typical of 19th century or early 20th century soda-lime glass objects...

An extremely fine NLB Newcastle light baluster wine glass with superb engraving of two clasped hands. Jacob Sang often used such a motif and the engraving is definitely of Sang quality, though, being unsigned, it is impossible to definitely attribute it to him. The pointed round funnel bowl sits atop a stem with a shoulder knop and a tear-filled medial inverted baluster knop...

Although not marked, this art glass piece bears the styling and quality of Victorian pieces made by the Stevens and Williams Ltd of England and in the 1870s under the direction of John Northwood (son Harry Northwood was a glass maker in America). The body is an oval pill-shaped translucent light turquoise glass with an open oval top that is bordered with a scalloped ribbon crest. At each narrow end is a small applique of amber glass. This crystal glass was produced in Europe in the late 19th century. It was probably made by a Bohemian firm. There is a signature but we were unable to identify the maker. The glass is 8 inches tall and the diameter of the bowl is 2 3/4 inches. It is made of hand blown crystal and the stem is hand cut. The gilded enamel decoration is extremely fine and detailed. It has winged griffins in the design. Condition: Excellent

As this glass is almost an exact match with item #g1261, but with a very slightly larger bowl and foot, the description is the same: elegant in its form, and beautifully fashioned, this is a 7 1/4" tall English wine flute. The drawn trumpet bowl leads into a multiple spiral air twist (MSAT) stem above a conical foot with a rough, snapped pontil. The bowl diameter is 2 9/16" and the foot diameter is 2 7/8"...

A fine example of a double series opaque twist (DSOT) wine glass. The lower half of the bowl is spiral molded, with the stem containing a pair of corkscrews outside on a single central corkscrew.

The condition of the glass is excellent, with no chips, cracks, hazing, or restoration. Wonderful color and tooling marks. Rough snapped pontil. The height is a goodly 7 1/4", with a bowl diameter of 2 1/4" and a foot diameter of 2 7/8".

This high standard compote is of extra generous size to show off its many virtues. The bowl is McKee and Brothers (1853-99) Shell pattern also known as Fans with Diamonds. It would date to c. 1880.

Extremely rare piece of Heisey that was in a drug store in the midwest in the late 1800s. It has stayed in the same family all these years. It measures 29" tall and in very good condition for its age. It does have a small chip on the rim of the bottom plate, and there are stains on the top plate that need to be taken out, although its not something I do. Other than that and a few extremely minor rough edges, its in great shape. I have never seen a piece like this before, nor have I seen one...

A rare and beautiful double series opaque twist wine glass. The bowl, of uncommon tulip form, sits atop a stem containing two heavy spiral threads around a central gauze. What makes this glass rare, aside from the bowl shape, is that, opposed to being conical, as is usually the case, the foot is domed, a feature very rarely found on opaque twist glasses.

This is a beautiful set of hand-painted nude glass vases, made by Bohemian Master, Moser, around 1885. The glass is in excellent condition - no chips, cracks or repairs. There is age-appropriate fading/wear to the paint. Each vase is 4 inches (10 cm) tall and 2 1/4 inches (5,5 cm) wide at the top. Three perfume bottles: a very small white opaline bottle with a gilt border, probably a sampler, a clear glass bottle with long neck and exquisite gilding and a white opaline bottle with a fan motif in blue.
