Featuring shell knees, hoof feet, scalloped border and acanthus decorated flying scroll handles. Dimensions; 6" x 3.25" x 3.75" high; total weight 10.5 Troy ounces. Very fine condition.

A classic George III sterling silver wine coaster, the bombe sides with egg and dart decoration and the rim with gadrooning. The decoration is finely crafted. The turned wood base is centered with a silver escutcheon bearing an unidentified coat of arms (dancetty with three swords points down) impaling that of Ashby (ermine chevron and three leopard’s heads) tied with a ribbon. The coaster is clearly stamped with hallmarks for London and the second George III duty mark (1786-1821)...

Turn-of-the-century Classical sterling silver trophy. Made by Whiting in New York. Baluster body with scrolled rim and scroll-bracket side handles. Foot raised with scrolled rim. Body has vertical slash lines and dense and overlapping chased leaves. Handles leaf-wrapped and mounted. Foot has egg-and-dart border and same slashed lines. Foot rim has tooled garland. A hefty, super-sumptuous winner’s cup. Extra strength required for holding aloft...

A Georgian Scottish King's pattern sterling sauce ladle 1818. This George III period 6-1/8" sterling silver sauce ladle is fully hallmarked for Edinburgh, Scotland 1818. This ladle has the maker's mark of Andrew Wilkie (est. 1813). It weighs 28.0 grams, it has a a DJC monogram, and it is in excellent antique condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

An ornately hand-engraved English sterling silver pierced sifter spoon, fully hallmarked for Sheffield 1893. This 5-3/8" spoon has a finely pierced bowl and a PW monogram; it has the maker's mark for Atkin Brothers and it weighs 29.3 grams. An Arts & Crafts English sterling silver pierced tea strainer, fully hallmarked for Birmingham England 1905 - 1906. This sntique 5-1/2" leng strainer has a simple tubular handle with a closed end. It is widest at the handle end, and tapers towards the bowl. It has a pierced 2-3/4" bowl; it has a THH & Co. maker's mark, most likely for TH Hazelwood & Company. This item is in excellent condition with no losses, dents, monograms, corrosion, repairs or damage...

A Gorham sterling silver miniature chamber stick or candle holder dated 1891. This Victorian era ornate chamberstick stands 1-5/8" high and it measures 3-3/8" across the base. It is stamped with the lion/anchor/G mark, along with STERLING 181 and the year cypher for 1891. Although a dainty size, these small candle holders sat on a writing deak or in a travel writing desk, as they had the practical use of melting sealing wax for an envelope or document. It weighs 41.6 grams...

A Georgian Silver Two Handle Oval Bowl, Hallmarked in Birmingham, 1827, by Robinson, Edkins and Aston. Dimensions; 13.5" x 10.5" x 2.5" high; weight, 17.0/15.5 standard/troy ounces. One small ding, overall in excellent condition.

An Impressive Teapot by Peter, Ann and William Bateman; London 1804. Signed PB AB WB for the three Bateman's. Weight 33.2 Standard/30.2 Troy ounces. Dimensions; 10.5" high x 9" handle to spout. Some minor flea bites, particularly on inside rim (see picture).

English dognose table spoon, London, circa 1702, by Henry Greene. Britannia standard (95.84% pure silver). Length - 8 inches. Good condition, with no dents or repairs, or wear to bowl. Maker's mark is worn but can be positively identified as that of specialist spoonmaker Henry Greene; date letter rubbed and only faintly discernible (possibly 1702); lion's head erased and Britannia figure hallmarks are legible...

A George III Sterling Silver Chamberstick with Attached Snuffer and Removeable Bobeche. Hallmarked in Sheffield in 1815 by Smith Tate & Co. (Nicholson & Holt). Faint monogram on Tray. Dimensionsl 4" high x 5.5" diameter of Tray; 9.6 Troy ounces. Chamberstick is in Excellent Condition, but there are a few small dings on the Snuffer (side facing the stick, when mounted).
