Chinese Han Dynasty Gilt Bronze Chimera Wonderful Chinese Han Dynasty figure of a chimera. The mythical creature is whimsically posed with it's head turned over it's shoulder and it's mouth wide with it's tongue out. It's feet are hooves and on it's back are wings. Made of bronze and gilded, beautiful patina, eyes are made of inlaid turquoise.

A nice bronze figure of the crucified Christ, European, European, Late renaissance, c. 16th century AD.

Christ is represented with a crown of thorns and his head bent slightly to the right. With long hair and beard and he wears a pleated peritonium.

Size: 78 mm. tall and 58 mm. wide.

Condition: Fine-Very fine for the type, missing left hand othervise intact with a fine light brown patina with deposits.

From the 1900 period, we are offering this ornate statue of the Virgin Mary holding Baby Jesus.
The figures and crown are made of silver with parts gilded in gold. The Virgin Mary is standing on top of a column, which is supported by an alabaster marble base.Circa 1900.
Dimensions: 8,25" height with base.
This item is in good condition with the exception of a hole on the center of the column as shown in the picture.

Statue of a traditional god, probably representing Kuan Ti or Kuan Yu, God of War, in formal garb, with a martial posture, sitting on a throne. Wood, with traces of the original gilding. Remnants of animal hair under nose and chin, to represent mustache and beard. At the back of the statue, the votive box is till closed. China, Qing Dynasty, 19th century. Height: 22.7 cm. Abrasion due to age, right arm partly missing, otherwise good condition.
