Terrific chair mat or small round rug hooked in a pattern of two white cats with large blue eyes and big red bows against a field of blue-grey surrounded by a burgundy and black double border. Hooked on a burlap foundation with wool and cotton. Very good condition, except for some discoloration and wear to the black border. 15" diameter. American, probably New England, 19th century.
Old Persian 100% Wool hand knotted long Caucasian Runner, 1920, 15' 6" long, 3' 2" wide, soft thick camel hair color wool pile with Caucasian design. The condition is good, even pile, very clean, out of house in Washington DC area, ready to put down inside any nice home.
This work towel is made for use but is also very beautiful. I think it is linen one way and cotton the other way. (warp and weft). It has a feel and sheen of linen but also has the flat look of cotton. It is in very good condition, has the original loop for hanging it up, and is hemmed on both sides of the towel. The initials are sewn with a brown floss and I think the initials are MLW. The width is 15 ", length 42". It is supple yet sturdy and had a wonderful rustic country look...

This is a richly colored hand dyed cotton antique American Folk Art floral hooked rug in shades of cream, beige, brown, gray and red comprising a centered diamond with scattered flowers and leaves. The outer corners having floral bouquets on a deep brown striated background, striped border. Size: 107" x 69". Condition is excellent with one minor repair on back.

A vintage child's pair of kid leather and suede shoes with wooden buttons c1900. These high-side shoes are still soft and supple with only surface creases on the (slightly soiled) leather. The buttons are painted, and the suede soles have a branded 0 on the bottom. They are stamped 0 D660 on the interior, they are 4-3/8" long and 3" high, and they are in excellent condition with no losses, damage or repairs...
This is a very nice egg wash chintz brown calico bag with a tan linen lining. It has a ribbon trim across the top and around the edges of the bag. The edges only have a little of the ribbon trim left, it has worn off over the years. The bag is in really good shape and is not fragile, it could be really used. Or great to use to store items while hanging off a hook or peg rack. 10" by 13" not including the straps. Circa 1870-80
Classic antique Kashgai (Qashqa'i) saddlebag front or face, made into a large pillow, circa 1890-1910. Fine weave, all natural dyes. Roughly 23" by 24".
A double Irish chain quilt with printed cotton fabrics of red and green chains against a background of black spots on white cotton. The front is turned over to the back to make the edge. The quilting is simple diagonals.
Condition; excellent, never washed.
Good colors and pleasing design makes this an attractive quilt.
An antique traditional women's folk costume headdress from Bavaria called "Priener Hut". The outside covered with black velvet, both sides with a pair tassels worked in gold wires, frippery and glass beads. The underside of the hat brim with splendid goldwork in gold and silver wires decorated with glass beads. The sides with the long, often missing, embroidered velvet and silk ribbons. Green silk lining and maker's label "Therese Allinger - Hutgeschäft - Obing"...

Circa 1900, a large needlework panel done in petit and gros point of a dog sitting on a stool in front of a window and bordered by various floral panels. Colors are cream and varied tones of reds, browns and tan. In a museum quality antique tiger maple frame with gold gilt liner and a wood panel back, it measures 23 x 26". Embroidery sight size measures 17.5” x 20.5".
Dated September 4th 1832, this lovely needlepoint saying titled "On Virtue" is surrounded with intricately embroidered flowers. In a bird's eye maple frame it measures 19.75" x 16.5", sight size 15" x 11.5". In very good antique condition, the background has darkened some with age (the first 2 photos showing the frame is most color correct.) Please note that the textile is not lighter on the bottom, it is a reflection as well as other light colored reflections coming from the glass.

Persian Sarouk Wool hand knotted large size Carpet, Ca. 1910, 10 1/2' x 15', very small hand knots for large carpet with dark blue and dark maroon reddish colors mainly, very rich and deep colors of floral and vines spread out on the soft wool surface which is evenly worn over the years. Two(2) shaped panels design on both ends and bordered by beautiful soft colors of typical Sarouk small patterns...
From our Indian Subcontinent Collection, a fine 19th century Lahore carpet featuring wool on wool construction, utilizing a vibrant palette dominated primarily by various blue on blue hues, accented with burgundy, taupe, cream, lilac and green.
Size and Condition: 11 3/4 feet x 8 3/4 feet. Great pile throughout, strong coloration with only slight oxidation. Remains of original fringe still present, but trimmed...
