A very fine and rare Bow porcelain chocolate cup with the "Golfer and Caddy" pattern. The cup of tall "U" Shape with a strap handle. The interior with a wavy border, the handle with a flowering plant, and the base with a "2" workman's mark.

The overall condition is excellent, with only an invisibly done museum quality repair to a small interior rim flake. This wonderful example looks much better in person than the photos show. Cup height is 2 7/8" with a 2 3/4" diameter.

Edwardian sterling silver picture frame. Made by Shreve & Co. in San Francisco, ca 1910. Oval window in same surround; on front engraved ivy leaf garland with spiky tips and reeded stems. Sides plain. Two delightful ball supports. With glass, silk lining, and burgundy velvet back and hinged-easel support. For portrait (vertical) display. Fully marked including maker’s stamp. This particular piece is a very unique, stone prayer tablet. It is difficult to date but stylistically could be as early as the Five Dynasties period (907-960 AD). These tablets were often found in conjunction with the ceramic offering vessels from Yunnan.
