Victorian Georgian Queen sterling silver soup ladle. Made by John and Henry Lias in London in 1839. King-shaped handle has engraved armorial with sword-bearing lion rampant and motto “Courage”. Deep ovoid bowl. A substantial and traditional piece made shortly after young Victoria ascended the throne. Stylistic continuity in the new reign. Fully marked. Very good condition.

George III sterling silver mug, London, 1765, with tapering sides and featuring an acanthus leaf capped double scroll handle and a stepped base. Marks rubbed and maker's mark indistinct. No repairs or erasures. Size: 3 3/4 inches ht. X 4 1/4 inches across handle X 3 inches diameter. Condition: minor bruising to sides.

This porcelain tea caddy was produced in Germany by KPM, Royal Berlin, around 1870. It is unmarked. The porcelain blank features the lid with snowdrops and the bottom has the typical legs that were designed by KPM. The piece is 7 inches high, including the lid. The ground is rich cobalt blue. Elegant pair of Chinese export porcelain soup plates decorated with a floral scene in the famille rose palette. Pheasants, beetles and butterflies are scattered among the pink peonies, orange pomegranates and blue-green bamboo stalks. The rim is decorated with a striking band of blue and gold strapwork in the Persian taste. The contrast of the restrained formal border pattern against the exuberant naturalistic design of the bowl is striking.

A pair of antique hand wrought iron Fire Breathing Dragon Andirons. Measure about 18" by 9 1/4" and weigh about six pounds. Rare and unique.

Fully hallmarked with Tiffany & Co. and an M dating from 1875-1891, this sterling silver "dolphin" shaped server is in excellent condition. The scene on the handle is "Paris the son of Priam." It has exquisite details even on the back. It is monogrammed with "EW" on the back of the handle. It measures approximately 12" long and 3" at its widest. Some of the gilding on the serving part has worn off. The overall weight is 187.2 grams.

A rare, early English flow blue three piece soup tureen c1850-60. This tureen stands 11" high with the lid, and the matching, fitted underplate measures 14-3/4" x 13". It has a floral style motif, and it has an impressed S as well as a pseudo Chinese mark, minor variants of which were used by Charles Meigh (1835-49), Charles Meigh & Son (1851-61) and also Job Meigh (c1805-34), all of Hanley, Staffordshire; we feel it dates from c1850-60 but it could possibly be of earlier manufacture...

I bet her kitchen smells like homemade bread and biscuits. This doll lets you know she is strong and capable and isn't afraid of work. I love that she has big hands formed as a fist with fingers and thumb. Her shoes are also big and sturdy also. The carving is bold and yet touching. She is a great example of the 1920-30's woman farmsteading, likely in Appalachian Mountains. She is 21" tall, carved from heavy hard wood and jointed with screws at the hips and shoulders. A superb and top quality example of Austro-Hungarian glassmaking at its finest. This is a set of six shell shaped cranberry glass nut dishes c1900 with crisp molding and lush encrusted gold decoration. Attributed to Moser, this set is certainly of the expected quality but we can't definitively confirm this. The set consists of the deep 9-1/2" long and 7-1/8" wide master nut bowl as well as five matching 4-1/2" long and 3-3/8" wide individual nut bowls...

A Central Anatolian prayer kilim in beautiful colors. Woven in slit tapestry, warp and weft in wool. Condition: Colors slightly faded, minor wear and few small repairs. Collectors piece, the weave is very fine and delicate, should not be exposed to heavy traffic. Dimensions: 202 x 118 cm without fringes.
