Offered is this exquisitely beautifully hand-painted, French opaline glass perfume bottle. The perfume is 11 1/2 inches (29 cm) tall. Except for a couple of minute flakes on the bottom of the lid that are typical of these old perfume bottle lids (see last picture - the flakes are concealed when the lid is in place), the bottle is in very good condition. The lid-bottom and the bottle's pontil-bottom have numbers (the bottle's number is too faded to decipher what it is - see pictures)...

This porcelain 8 piece set of tea for two was produced in Germany by Meissen in the 1870s. This is a first quality set. The tray is 17 inches long and 12 inches wide. The pot is 8 inches high. The set is painted with a striking pattern inspired by the Japanese, known as Imari. The colors are vivid and the decoration is bold. There is cobalt blue and iron red accented by shiny gilding...

Offered is this rare antique opaline glass perfume bottle with a serpentine rigaree. The hand-painted bottle is 6 1/2 inches (16,5 cm) tall and 3 3/4 inches (9,5 cm) wide at the bottom. It is in good condition except for a small flake on the rigaree (see last picture). Polished pontil. Unsigned - most likely made by Baccarat of France.

This porcelain covered vase was produced in Germany at Nymphenburg in the 1890s. It is 7 1/4 inches high. The shape is Asian in style. The decoration is beautifully hand painted with delicate vines of tiny flowers entwined around strands of ribbon. The colors are vivid and there are accents of gold in the design. This porcelain basket was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the late 19th century. It is 11 inches long, 8 1/4 inches wide and 2 1/4 inches high. The porcelain is hard paste of the highest quality. The sides of the basket are reticulated giving it a woven effect. There are two rococo style handles on each side. The center of the bowl is hand painted with a lovely spray of brightly colored flowers. They are realistically portrayed in the Meissen style...

A fine American tinsel or foil painting depicting a wreath of flowers, with a bird, around a grouping of fruit and foliage. The wreath is on a variation of the relatively rare "snowflake" type of background. This technique appears to have been done primarily in the 1870's period. The frame and wooden backboard are original.

Three perfume bottles: a very small white opaline bottle with a gilt border, probably a sampler, a clear glass bottle with long neck and exquisite gilding and a white opaline bottle with a fan motif in blue. The smallest probably French, Second Empire, the two others late 19th century – the clear glass bottle probably Italian. No stoppers. Height "2 ¼ - 4 ½ / 5.5 – 11.3 cm. Condition: fine.

This glass vase was produced in Bohemia 1870-1880 by Harrach. The vase is 8 inches high and the widest point has a diameter of 4 inches. The glass has a layer of pink glass over white opaline glass. It has three applied ball feet. It is hand enameled with a bird on a branch surrounded by flowers. The enameling is beautifully detailed with vibrant colors. There is a sprig of flowers on the back on the vase. The rim is trimmed with gilding that has black enamel accents...

A very well-cut low bowl in an unidentified pattern. The cutting is deep, sharp and precise. The pattern comprises three panels of star- and diamond-cut cane, divided by elongated loops enclosing flashed fans and strawberry diamond, alternating with hobstars. The blank is heavy and very clear.

Origin: America, ca. 1890. Condition: excellent, a 1/32" fleabite on the inside edge of one tooth. Size: 7-1/4" diameter; 2" high.

A nice early Staffordshire pottery child's cup decorated with a transfer scenes of children playing leap frog on one side and "peg top" on the other. The black transfer is highlighted with red overglaze enamel. The cup is accented with a molded foot and a strap handle. Teh glaze has the slight bluish tint found in Staffordshire pottery of this period.

Origin: England, ca. 1850. Condition: normal crackling to glaze, a few small flakes at the rim and two tight hairlines. Size: 2-3/4" tall.

I don't know quite how to describe this one, so I will begin somewhere. This is a sort of milk glass plate with ornate edge pattern with cut-outs, 8" in diameter. In the last years of the 19th or early years of the 20th century, someone very meticulously cut pieces and strips from used American postage stamps, utilizing those pieces to create designs like early flags, American eagle, crossed swords, a crescent moon, and six pointed star.
