A finely carved and exceptional early wooden Mangle board, Friesland (coastal regions of the Netherlands and northwestern Germany), dated 1674.

Mangle boards are rarely seen dated earlier than 1700s and this is a significant piece, carved in a wonderful geomethric style with micro carving of tiny details. Dated at the top and initialized further down.

A very nice lacquered papier-mache tabletop box, the cover with colorful Chinoiserie scene. The decoration depicts a noble lady and gentlemen being entertained by a troop of magicians in their garden. While two of the magicians look on, the third is juggling four balls. This is a very whimsical design that makes this box really special. The hinged lid has a lock (alas, the key is long gone)...

A Large Sterling Meat Fork by Gorham in the Mythologic Pattern, issued in 1894. Designed by F. Antoine Heller, a French Designer Formerly with Tiffany. Dimensions; 10" in length and 5 ounces; front part 4" x 2.5". Excellent condition.

This is a beautiful, large bronze cherub standing on a rouge marble base from the late l9th century that was made into a lamp. It measures 45" tall to the top of the light. The cherub itself is 20" tall and it stands on a marble base that is 10 1/2" tall. It is in beautiful condition, the cherub's arms are pinned where they should be and its a beautiful addition to any home. I can find no artist name or stamps on the piece, but it is a great 19th century sculpture.

This wildly over-the-top Egyptian Revival inkwell has the goddess Hathor as the center piece. She was the goddess of dance, music, and fertility (how cool is that!). She is wearing big earrings, and her usual headdress. She seems to have a flower in her hair, and in front of her there is foliage tied by a ribbon with a bow (we can’t tell if it’s laurel or mistletoe)...

Pair of Edwardian Classical silver-plated wine bottle coasters. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Each: Round well with concentric rings. Sides have open scrollwork. Flared rim with applied scrolls and scallop shells. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 11743 (first produced in 1893), director’s letter T (1892-1902), and phrase “Silver-Soldered-E.P.”. Very good condition.

A wonderfully rendered pottery Staffordshire portrait bust of the philosopher John Locke. The name is incised on the back of this piece. Raised on a faux marble socle, the figure is effectively modelled and strongly colored. The condition is superb, with no chips, cracks, restoration, inpainting, or enamel loss. A beautiful example of a large Scratch Cross period Worcester tankard of spreading base form with a double groove strap handle. The pattern is "The Zig-Zag Fence", and is the first in a long series of Worcester fence patterns. The particular speciman offered here, with its single line mark, would be early in the c1751 to 1755 period in which this pattern was made. The expected blue workman's mark is on the base.

A graceful stepped strap-handled pitcher of lead glass, featuring trailed threading at the rim, and engraved "RFE" with vines above ribbons, the reverse with flowering vines.

A Sheffield plate helmet style cream jug circa 1780-1800. This 5" high genuine cream pitcher predates electroplating and it consists of thin layers of silver laid on to copper sheets; the sandwich of metals is then formed into the desired object. This unsigned creamer is in good original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs; it has the expected areas of copper blush from polishing over the last couple of centuries...

Antique 17th century German Nürnberg - Nuremberg pewter relief plate KAISERTELLER circa 1630 of Ferdinand II (9 July 1578 – 15 February 1637)...

A beautiful three-piece antique French clock garniture set, made by F.Marti. Made of metal and marble, the set consists of a clock and two accent pieces. Overall, the set is in very good condition (the top-filial on the clock is a little loose). The clock-works is marked, 'S. Marti Medaille d'Or Paris 1900' - see last picture. The clock is approximately 15 inches (37,5 cm) tall and 10 inches (25 cm) wide. Each of the accent pieces is approximately 11 inches (27,5 cm) tall.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Königliche Porzellan Manufaktur or KPM in the 1890s. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/4 inches and the cup is 2 inches high. The porcelain body has molded designs in high relief that are accentuated by the gilding and hand painting. Floral swags and knots of flowers are scattered around the surface...

A superb and early spread base mug example of the Worcester "Walk in the Garden" pattern.
