English Royal Worcester chocolate pot with embossed and hand painted pink wild rose decoration; molded gilt trim on handle and finial. Date code for 1892. Size: 8 inches ht. Excellent condition.

A hard to find purple transferware pitcher with central vignettes of farm life and genre scenes. The top and inside of pitcher have foliate decoration. The single piece handle is attached. Condition is very good with minor crazing and possible exterior crack for which we have shown 2 pictures. Very moderate age discoloration most noticeably on handle.

Circa late 19th century needlework in cream and red, 11 3/4" by 9 3/4" plus Victorian style wood frame with grape leaves in the corners, wrapped around a board. The birds remind of those seen on American salt glaze cobalt ceramic pieces. Together with the folky framing, this makes for a very decorative work of Americana, and an interesting addition to your collection.

This porcelain trinket box was produced in Germany by Meissen around 1900. It has a diameter of 3 inches and is 1 ¾ inches high. It is made of the finest porcelain with a high gloss glaze. It is hand painted in Art Nouveau style with a bunch of pink roses and foliage. There is gold trim around the rims of both pieces. Condition: Excellent, first quality

This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by Royal Vienna around 1870. The diameter of the plate is 8 1/2 inches. The plate has sections of the border cut out with reticulated designs and painted with flowers and birds. There are also panels with colorful hand painted birds on branches. They are reminiscent of bird painting done by Meissen and Herend. The center of the plate has a branch of hazel nuts and sprigs of berries. The decoration is beautifully done...

Copeland Spode: six small blue and white cups and saucers and a milk jug, a part toy tea service. All transfer-printed in the Italian pattern, early 20th century. Height of the little jug:/ "1 ¾ / 4,3 cm, of the cups: 2 ¼"/5,5 cm, diam. of saucers: 4"/10,5 cm. All marked Copeland Spode´s Italian England. Condition: one saucer with a discreet star crack, otherwise fine.

A red and white overlay and marbled glass vase by Loetz, Bohemia. From the Carneol series, of square shape and decorated with a lace-like pattern in white enamel and gilt. Carneol glass was produced in 1888 and 1889. Height "4 / 10.5 cm. Condition: fine.

A pair of creamware pierced plates, thinly potted and with ribbed recess and hand pierced border. Possibly from the factory of James & Charles Whitehead. In the pattern book published 1798 by the Whitehead brothers, two versions of this pattern are depicted side by side: one with a beaded edge, the other a ”plain” version like these two. 2 pc. Gaudy Welsh Pearl White ironstone items 1820-50. This pair of early to mid-19th century Gaudy Welsh tableware pieces includes the 5-1/2" milk jug and the 7-3/4" across ten-sided plate. Both have floral hand painted designs; they have both copper and pink lustre with green leaves and flow blue decoration. They both have a painted 316 pattern number and the plate has an impressed PEARL WHITE mark...

Five French majolica plates from H. Boulenger & Cie in Choisy-le-Roi, 1880’s. Aesthetic Japanesque compositions and molded design in contrasting colors, ochre and turquoise with crackle glaze effects. The motifs are nightly poetic: a boy gazing at the moon (twice, in reverse coloring), a night wanderer with a lantern, the Man in the Moon fishing and an earthly fisherman just catching a fish. All with the printed monogram and impressed factory mark. Diameter "8 ½ / 21,8 cm. Condition: all fine...

Two exquisitely enameled Höchst coffee cups, one with a rose and the other with a tulip. The porcelain manufacture of Höchst near Frankfurt am Main was founded in 1746, and the two coffee cups were made around 1765. Underglaze blue wheel mark to both, and brown rims. Height "2/ 5 cm, diameter "2 ¾ / 7.1-7.3 cm. Condition: fine.

This is an ACANTHUS GEORG JENSEN SMALL SERVING OR BON BON SPOON from a Maryland Estate. In the ACANTHUS PATTERN the size is 4 1/8" long; the Bowl measuring 1 1/2" X 1 5/8". Marked on the back: GJ/ DENMARK/ STERLING. Monograms on the top front: LEJ. Date this piece ca. 1915-1930 in EXCELLENT Condition

A nice South Jersey glass paperweight with a frit “Home Sweet Home” design. The motif features a log cabin with puffs of smoke coming out of the chimney, surrounded by the “Home Sweet Home” legend and a laurel wreath bough at the bottom. The top is cut with a single printy. The bottom is flat and polished, without the incised ring that appears around the periphery of many South Jersey weights.

A good bronze footed trumpet base by bronze artisan Carl Sorensen. The surface is patinated in a mottled bluish-green shade and is enhanced with bands of parallel engraved lines in a bright copper finish. Most of Sorensen’s vases did not have a foot, and the addition of the small foot—also enhanced with a bright copper edging—adds special appeal. Sorensen is known to have worked in Philadelphia in the first part of the 20th century, making bronze wares in the Arts & Crafts tradition...

A vintage Victorian English silverplated footed salver with fine hand engraving. This 19th century 12" serving tray features a scalloped edge with modified shell decorations; the engraving has shells, boughs, florals and fruits as well as a complex monogram in the center.
