This porcelain cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Richard Klemm Dresden Studio in the 1890s. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/4 inches and the cup is 3 1/4 inches high without the handle. It was probably used to serve hot chocolate. The cup features an Empire style handle. The set is hand painted with cartouches containing Watteau scenes in Meissen style. This porcelain dish was produced in France in the late 19th century. It has an underglaze mark that says Limoges, France but there is no factory name. The dish was evidently sold undecorated to an amateur artist who painted it. The dish has cut out handles on the sides. It is 8 1/4 inches across the handles. The roses are painted with delicacy. You have buds to full blown blooms in pink and rose. The dish is trimmed with gilding. Condition: Excellent

A beautifully made and proportioned antique wine glass with a multiple spiral air twist (MSAT) stem. The cup bowl has honeycomb molding, and the stem has shoulder and medial knops. With good weight and tooling, this elegant glass stands tall at 6 1/2 inches, with a 2 9/16 inch bowl diameter and a 3 1/8 inch foot diameter. Conical foot with a rough, snapped pontil.

This is a Limoges cabinet plate, ca. 1890, bearing the Limoges mark of the Coiffe porcelain factory as well as that of Guerin-Pouyat-Elite; featuring molded borders in pale pink within gilt rims and centered with a delicately handpainted spray of lilacs; condition: excellent, no chips, cracks, or crazing; gilt on rims is faded; measurement: 9 inches diam.

A lovely set of three pewter measuring mugs for quarter, Pint and 1/2 pint, England, 18th.-19th. century.

Scarce as a complete set in this quality with brass rims and profusely inscribed with owners names and fine pewter touchmarks. The Quarter mug (1 quart Imperial capacity) is quite large and would probably have contained nearly a liter liquid. Brass rim measures are considered to have been used to measure shell fish and dry produce, though.

Antique second half of the 19th century Bohemian hand-blown clear cut-glass decanter and stopper made for the Middle Eastern, Persian and Ottoman market. Body of bulbous form with long neck applied with three faceted rings, cut with leaf-shaped panels of hobnail, leaves and diamonds, enamelled with blossom and scrolls and gold gilt, with spire stopper. Base with a ground down pontil mark.

A beautiful pair of scissor shaped sugar nips or tongs, with shell bowls. Silver, probably Irish, Rococo style, late 18th century. Unmarked, like many early sugar nips. Width "6¼/ 16 cm, weight 67 grams. Condition: the joint is somewhat unsteady and apparently these sugar nips have never been restored.

A George III Scottish Silver Sugar and Cream Jug by Francis Howden and hallmarked in Edinburgh in 1810. Bright cut engraved decoration. Gilt interior and reeded border. The marks are faint, but between the two pieces can be made out. Dimensions; creamer 8" x 4.5"; sugar 5.75" x 4.5"; weight 16.5 Troy ounces total. Excellent condition.

Handsome gilt bronze figure of a reclining dog (some variety of hound) mounted as a paperweight on a butterscotch marble base. The statue retains its original gilt surface and has achieved a very pleasing patina. The marble base is richly colored with gray veining.
