An extremely large, beautiful, and fine English wine glass, elegant in its simplicity. The bucket bowl sits above a stem of the double series opaque twist type, which has a pair of spiral threads outside of a central gauze.

Conical foot with a rough pontil. Good color and tool marks, with no condition issues. The height is 7 5/8", with a bowl diameter of 3" and a foot diameter of 3 3/8". Glasses of this size are quite uncommon in this period.

Very nice Imperial Russian peacock blue pressed glass tea box. Glass tea caddies are difficult to find in this color. The design features fans, strawberry diamonds and Russian cane motifs. The box is bound with silverplated mountings and a lock. The box was almost certainly made by the “OtyM.F. Atelier”. Locked tea boxes were a holdover from earlier days when tea was a precious commodity that had to be kept safe from marauding servants.

Large Palm sterling silver sugar tongs. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1880. U-form. Each stem tapering with scallop shell jaw; fiddle terminal with low relief palm. A rare serving piece in the simplified Classical pattern designed by Edward C. Moore and first produced in 1871. Fully marked including maker’s stamp and director’s letter m (1869-75). Very good condition. Taut and springy.

Outstanding and gorgeous Victorian liquor decanter in cranberry overshot glass. The body is blown in a ribbed shape and is accented with vertical gilt stripes. The neck is fitted with a silverplate collar and the most extraordinary silverplated jockey head stopper.

Origin: probably England, ca. 1890. Condition: excellent, except for two very short, stable hairlines at the neck that are original to the piece; stopper retains the original cork and fits well. Size: 12-3/4" tall.

Japonesque mixed metal napkin ring. Made by Gorham in Providence in 1882. Hand-hammered sterling silver ring applied with cooper ornament: A man in pointy hat is seated on the ground, smoking while a small dog approaches from behind, interrupting the opium-induced serenity. Above is a darting butterfly. Engraved name “Edward Hegeler”. Hegeler (1835-1910) was a German-born American industrialist and publisher. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, no. 675, and date letter...

One of the most beautiful pitcher and bowls set I've ever had the pleasure to own. It is hand decorated with art nouveau peonies with a flow blue border. The pitcher measures 13 1/2" tall x 10" wide, and the bowl measures 16 1/2" diameter x 5 1/4" tall. It is signed on the bottom K & Co. and Late Mayers. This lovely set is in beautiful original condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs.

This porcelain cup and saucer was produced in England by Worcester around 1800. It is unsigned. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/2 inches and is 1 inch deep. The cup is 2 3/4 inches high, measures 5 1/4 inches across the handles, and the opening is 3 inches in diameter. The cup features cartouches of hand painted fruits and foliage repeated in the well of the saucer. Elegant gilding frames the paintings. The cobalt blue ground is overlaid with marble like gilding...

This antique large claret decanter has a heavy silver handle and hinged top with a ball thumb rest setd on a cut crystal decanter. It measures 13-7/8" in height and 5-1/2" across the base. This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by Meissen in the late 19th century. It measures 7 1/2 inches in diameter and is 1 1/8 inches deep. The fine quality porcelain is colored cobalt blue. There are 3 cartouches containing sprays of vibrantly colored flowers. They are framed with elaborate gilding. You can see delightful bugs and butterflies fluttering amongst the flowers. This porcelain chocolate cup and saucer was produced in Vienna, Austria in 1804. Impressed numbers on the bottom of the saucer indicate this year. It has an underglaze cobalt blue bee hive marking on both pieces. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/2 inches and is 1 3/4 inches high. The cup is 4 1/4 inches high, including the lid.
