A wonderful double sided smalt trade sign for D.M. Woodward, Doctor of Chiropractic. The gilded letters and the black smalt background are virtually intact and vibrant. The frame is original, and measures 28 3/4 inches by 14 inches by 2 inches deep. There is a small sliver out of the frame at one upper edge, and a small gap in the frame at the corner. Aside from these very minor flaws, the piece is in excellent condition.

Classical pair of Jackfield Ware candlesticks with turquoise colored Roman figures on a black background. This pottery was first made at Jackfield, Shropshire, England, in the 18th century with a red clay body often decorated in relief and distinguished especially by its thick black glaze. These elegant candlesticks date to 1860 and would grace a mantle or dining room table.

A Victorian Sterling Silver Presentation Inkstand or Standish with Taperstick. The Inkstand is Assayed in Sheffield 1864, with the maker "IH" probably john Harrelson. The Cut Glass Inkwells, with Hinged Silver Lids are from Birmingham 1863, with the makers mark of "IC", probably James Collins. Lovely oval lobed shape enamel and silver compact, painting of group of Putti holding hands dancing encircling a tree with landscape in the background. The painting is framed with silver engraving and carnelian blue enamel accents. Stamped 800 silver and a duck and makers seal inside with the print of a doll. Dimensions 3 1/2"L x 2 1/2"W. Condition Report: Excellent condition, this fine compact should be Austrian in origin.

Superb quality, antique European pair of solid silver marriage spoons. The spoons have a deep oval bowl with an elaborate stem. The front and back of the stems are finely hand-chiseled and engraved, and the finials are in the form of a 17th-century bust of a woman. The quality of the spoons is superb, and they are in excellent condition.

This set of 6 porcelain plates was produced in Russia by the Kornilov Brothers factory in the 1880s. The plates measure 8 inches in diameter. They are decorated with a transfer design in soft pastel colors. The frolicking cherubs are taken from French Sevres designs. The plates are slightly scalloped on the edge and are trimmed with delicate gilding. Condition: Excellent

American brilliant-cut glass and sterling silver decanter. Made by Gorham in Providence in 1894. Round body with thumb ring handle. Cut ornament in arched frames. Collar silver as is hinged and cork-lined cover with floral repousse. On cover is engraved block monogram and dates “1870 W. G. C. 1895”. Fully marked including no. S1744 and date symbol. Very good condition.
