This fancy gold lined iron band reads "Gold Gab Ich Fur Eisen", meaning "I gave gold for iron", and was part of a patriotic effort to fund the Austro Hungarian War whereupon German citizens were asked to donate their gold jewelry and other gold articles and in return they would receive iron rings with these patriotic inscriptions...

Dramatic Georgian faceted paste single stone ring set in silver and backed in 18K. The ring is nicely engraved at the shoulders with an 18K band. The carved paste is set in silver, which was believed to be better suited to set off the cool tones of the "diamond" stone...

Wonderful brightly colored half hoop ring of the classic Victorian 5 stone design consisting of 3 emeralds and 2 amethysts.

Pair of Edwardian Georgian sterling silver candlesticks. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1915. Each: Tapering shaft with base knop on stepped and raised foot. Socket has straight sides and detachable bobeche. Faceted. Traditional form with showy gilding. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 18910 (first produced in 1915), and director’s letter m. Very good condition with nice toning.

Turn-of-the-century Art Nouveau glass perfume with engraved silver overlay. Made by Gorham in Providence. Globular with short neck and everted rim in silver collar. Ball stopper. Open and whiplash overlay with linear borders, and round cartouche (vacant). Silver has maker’s stamp and no. D939. Very good condition.

Very Rare 18th century Pennsylvania Dutch straw art painting. Details are excellent as well as the condition. Purchased from a family in PA, it is also possible this came over with an early Pennsylvania Dutch immigrant. Either way, it was made by the same people. Measures framed 13.5" x 10.5". 19th Century Rock Crystal Paperweight/Inkwell. Large and Heavy. Brass horseshoe with seven nails, bronze coronet band and brass engraved lid. Measures: 3.75" tall and approx 4" wide and deep. Engraved Monogram on lid. MINT Condition. Aside from minor chip on inkwell interior inset, Perfect Condition. Quite exceptional. Weighs about 5 pounds.

Dutch Delft Pottery thick Polychrome painted Plate, 18th Century, 9" diameter, 1 1/4" high, with garden scene. There are some chips around the rim, glaze is crazed.

Two(2) Victorian English Staffordshire Charles Meigh "Indian Stone China" Soup Plates, 10 1/2" diameter with fluted rim, 2" high, impressed mark on the bottom, the condition is good, no damages.

Capped and scroll-mounted high-looping handle. Scrolled helmet mouth with applied rim. Pretty with nice heft. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, no. 2511, and volume (3 1/2 pts). George V sterling silver sugar caster. Made by Harrison Bros & Howson in London in 1911. Baluster with applied shell-mounted garland on domed foot with chased imbricated leaf-and-flower border. Cover threaded and domed with vasiform finial and ornamental piercing. Fully marked. Excellent condition.

Fully marked including dated maker’s stamp, retailer’s stamp (JE Caldwell), no. 275, and volume. Very good condition.
