A bold and beautiful tinsel, or foil, painting, reverse painted on glass. The subject matter is a yellow and white urn, filled with a bountiful array of various flowers, done in a rainbow of colors. The period and probably original frame is of high quality mahogany, which is very rarely found on this type of work.

The painting is in overall excellent condition, and the frame itself has some scuffing and wear, which could easily be touched up...

A marvelous pair of Dresden or Old Paris porcelain candlesticks with carefully painted cherubs holding to each nozzle while upholding while perched on stumps. The winged characters are draped with modesty scarves which swirl around the sticks. The quatrefoil bases are embellished with gold and encrusted with pink flowers.

The slightly brassy gilding cause me to date these beautiful candlesticks as early as 1880 since they are unmarked, to as late as 1910...

21114688 A very nice 8 ½ inch tall Galle cameo banjo form vase. The red over colorless over opal vase has a motif of cherries and leaves. The vase is signed as seen faintly in photograph C. The neck of the vase is 5/8" in diameter and the flat bulbous bottom is 2 3/8" wide and 1 ½” deep. The vase is in wonderful condition.

This black cloth doll is from a private collection in New Hampshire. She is 16" tall and has embroidered face with a pinched raised nose. She has floss hair coming out from around the sewn on gathered bonnet. She is rag stuffed and is very firm. She sits but it is a bit forced maybe because she has been stored flat in a box for many years. She is hand sewn as is her great early dress with a pocket on one side.The dress is without arms but with her black cloth arms it is hard to notice...

Victorian Pietra Dura earrings of a butterfly, set in 9K gold. Pietra dura is a form of micro-mosaic made with pieces of hard stone such as agate, and cemented into black marble. It is also known as Florentine mosaic as Florence, Italy was the center of manufacture of these wonderful pieces. Red is a particularly rare color to find in Pietra dura. The earrings are set onto 14K ear wires.

Antique Galle etched cameo art glass vase acquired pre internet era. Frosted background with salmon - coral - persimmon color lush layered foliate floral Art Nouveau designs wrapped around ending in a wispy leaf above his star and the Galle mark. The five pointer is his widowed wife's "mourning mark" following this master glass maker's 1904 death...

This Antique Buffalo Hide Carriage Blanket is in excellent condition with just a small area indicating some minor loss; edges beyond the red zigzag border have shredding in a few areas. The label is in excellent condition and states the following: It was made by the WALLACE COMPANY in MONTANA and is INTERLINED WITH HEAVY RUBBER DRILL- Guaranteed Wind, Water and Moths...

A large gold lustre and blue on a cream ground Spanish first half of the 16th century charger, probably Valencia, Manises. Molded with a dome in the center and leaves around the rim with a hole for hanging pierced in the rim before firing. 16 ¾ inches (42.5 cm) diameter.

Condition: Broken and restuck with some fairly crude filling of a couple of lost bits. One serious rim chip and numerous glaze and minor chips on the edge. Some wear to the gold lustre...

8 Tiffany, N. Y. mark English Mintons Dinner Plates, 1920, 10 1/4" diameter, encrusted brilliant gold Vine decoration with bright Lemon color border rim. Marking on the bottom "Mintons" under the crown, "Tiffany & Co. New York", and also numbers show 8588.." but not very clear. The condition is very good.

This set of 6 porcelain demitasse cups and saucers was produced in France by Haviland Limoges around 1910. The saucers are 4 3/8 inches in diameter. The cups are 2 inches tall with a diameter of 2 1/8 inches. Notice the graceful shape of the handle. The decoration is high quality. Borders of raised gilded rosettes encircle each piece. The cup has exquisitely delicate gilding just inside the rim of the cup. Even the foot rings of the cups and saucers are heavily gilded...

Fun and unusual earrings of Whitby jet with a jet ball hanging below carved Whitby jet florets. Whitby Jet is fossilized coal mined in Whitby, England in the 19th century and made into jet jewelry, used at the time for to create jewelry. It was truly a cottage industry, with men extracting the jet from the mines and turning the precious material over to woodworkers, who hand turned and carved the jet into smooth forms...

Smart and tailored gutta percha necklace or collar, tie it on and walk away. Gutta percha is a black or brown hard rubber like material made from the sap of a Malayan tree. In the late Victorian period it was molded in various forms to make jewelry. This necklace measures 13" long by 1 1/4" at its widest

Crucifix in wood and pewter. The cross is made up of 2 planks of softwood, fir or larch? The Christ and the other elements are in cast pewter (or lead?). A similar but smaller crucifix is kept at the Victoria & Albert museum which advertises it as an 18th century Spanish work. 375 x 185 mm Good condition, some lacks as can be seen on photos. Very rare item.

This is a long silver watch chain with alternating lengths of longer and shorter fetter links. For the better part of the nineteenth century, chains were fashioned laboriously using hand-working skills. A fetter link refers to a longer link which was used to reduce the number of links needed to fabricate a chain, thereby cutting down on the labor...

This is a tall French cameo glass vase made by Legras. Except for the fact that the vase was drilled for a lamp-base (it was never used as a lamp), the vase is in excellent condition. It is properly signed in cameo. The vase is 16 inches (40 cm) tall and 7 inches (17,5 cm) wide at the shoulder. Fire-polished rim and polished pontil. A pair of beautiful crackle-glass vases, made by Bohemian master, Ludwig Moser, around 1890. The vases are decorated with superb enameling of ocean-themed motif. Each vase is 11 3/4 inches (30 cm) tall and 5 inches (12,5 cm) wide at its widest.
