Fabulous 19th century sterling silver christening cup by Whiting Manufacturing Company--one of the America's most sophisticated silver companies. The entire surface is covered with repousse decoration of roses, lilies, and philodendron leaves. A reserve, just opposite the handle, is engraved "Lily". Outstanding sterling silver soup ladle in a repousse pattern. The design is a very finely worked pattern of roses and other flowers and foliage. The bowl is deeply lobed and has a scalloped edge. The pattern is similar to Kirk’s “Repousse”, but not identical. The back is marked “Sterling” but is not marked with a maker’s name (a frequent practice until around 1910)...

An English Victorian Sterling Silver Inkstand or Standish with a Silver Lidded Inkwell. Hallmarked Birmingham, 1899, with makers mark indistinct (possibly Horace Woodward & Co,). Monogram FCS? and the date 1899. Dimensions 8" wide x 4.5" deep x 3.5" high. Very good condition.

A fine example of a double series opaque twist (DSOT) wine glass. The lower half of the bowl is spiral molded, with the stem containing a pair of corkscrews outside on a single central corkscrew.

The condition of the glass is excellent, with no chips, cracks, hazing, or restoration. Wonderful color and tooling marks. Rough snapped pontil. The height is a goodly 7 1/4", with a bowl diameter of 2 1/4" and a foot diameter of 2 7/8".

An early 19th c silk damask vestment with a floral and crown motif. The orphrey portion dates from the 17th century. Actually in quite good condition, with some scattered wear. 46" in length.

A beautiful Royal Doulton Lambeth ware vase with deep cobalt blue high luster glaze that changes to a sage green, then to a medium/light blue at the base. A floral band encircles the top with all the raised details still intact. Inside the vase has sage green glaze. In excellent condition, you will notice an imperfection at the base rim that appears to have happened in manufacture which is not uncommon. Impressed marks on base bottom...

This 11 piece dessert plate set was produced in France by Haviland & Co. Limoges between 1876 and 1886. They have double markings indicating this period. The set consists of one serving plate and 10 smaller plates. The large plate is 10 inches across the handles and the small dishes are 7 1/4 inches in diameter. The serving plate has pierced handles. Each piece has an apricot colored band around the rim. The decoration is a Japanese inspired transfer print that is hand colored...

This porcelain vase was produced in England by Royal Doulton in the 1890s. It is signed by the artist Edwin Wood. He specialized in painting flowers and particularly roses.
