A Leeds, Yorkshire creamware plate with pierced border, late 18th century. Diameter "9½/ 24 cm. Condition: some stains to the well, a glaze flake and some small nicks to the foot rim (cf. pics).

Nice 6” plate in the “Horse Chestnut” pattern by Dedham Pottery. The crackling is very even and the blue has medium intensity. The back has both the ink stamp and the incised rabbit mark.

Origin: America, 1896-1928. Condition: a hairline visible on the back; a few small roughnesses along the edges from plate hangers. Size: 6” diameter.

A finely detailed 11-3/4" tall silverplated epergne stand or base c1880s. This stand features a semi-nude woman stganding on a footed base holding the dish aloft; it is stamped MONARCH SILVER CO. 592 on the bottom. The bottom of the bowl support has a satin finish, and it measures 3-5/8" across the interior, with a 9/16" deep collar for supporting the bowl...

A thinly potted eggshell porcelain cup and two saucers. Enameled decoration of scrolls, Phoenix birds and temples in soft pastel shades. Arita, Japan, Edo period. Marked Zoshuntei (= shop), Sanpo Zo (made), for the factory of Hisatomi Yojibei Masatsune (1842 – 1870). Hisatomi was one of the first potters in Japan to be allowed to put his factory name on pieces intended for export from Arita. Pair of oval silver salts, clean and simple design with straight sides and a classical border of stylized leaves (kymation) around the rim. A Royal Doulton Chiné stoneware jug or pitcher with pewter lid, c 1890, partly gilt and enamelled in turquoise, blue and white. The Chiné pattern, where a textile – lace - was pressed into the clay to create the desired effect, was invented by Slater, director of Doulton from 1887 to 1936. Marks: Royal Doulton, Slater’s Patent and RH for designer Rosina Harris. Height 8"/20 cm. Condition: restoration to tip of spout.

A 19th century Japanese Kutani bottle vase. This well painted hand decorated 6-1/8" vase features gold decoration, floral and figural panels and decoration in black and orange. It has what appears to be an artist's signature on the bottom and it is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, damage or repairs other than some linear craze lines and areas of fine crazing...

A late 19th century lorgnette, guilloché enamel and silver handle. The enamel decoration is of a rose flower and diminutive gold buds on a light blue background. The shell-shaped end of the handle conceals the spring mechanism that opens up the two brass roundels for the lenses. No hallmark to the enameled handle, but the work is most probably French. A loop at the end of the handle allows for a chain or a string...

Silver and brass very large Catholic votive item with decorative silver heart, three cherubs, and a flame. And, in applied brass(or other gold metal) there is a cross atop a crown with the initials "RCR". Quite large, it measures 7 1/2" long by 5 1/4" wide. Nice early South Jersey glass paperweight with a frit setup depicting a cabin surrounded by the motto "Home Sweet Home". The cabin has trees in the yard, smoke curling from the chimney, and a well in the foreground. The design is worked entirely in white frit. The base has a broken pontil and an incised ring around the base, as is typical of S. Jersey paperweights.

Origin: America, ca 1890. Condition: light surface scratching to the crown, no chips. Size: 3-1/2" diameter; 2-1/2" high.

Large and beautiful ironstone beer tankard or mug, with molded or sprigged decoration of hops – looking rather like blackberries - in blue and white on a drab coloured background. England, c 1820-30, in the Wedgwood jasperware style. Height "4¾/ 12 cm, diameter "5¼/ 13,5 cm. Condition: fine.

Pearlware cup and saucer decorated with a silver resist (platinum) border of vines within thin red lines. As a cheaper alternative to luxury silver services and to avoid tarnishing, platinum on porcelain was used in the early 19th century. Silver resist or silver lustre wares were produced mainly in Staffordshire, before silver-plated metals took over the market. This cup and saucer was made around 1820 and is unmarked.
