This porcelain plate was produced in England by Mintons in the late 19th century. The date markings are obscured so it is not possible to specify the year. It is signed by the renowned artist, Antonin Boullimier, trained at the Sevres Porcelain Manufactory. The plate is 9 ½” in diameter. The blank is made of fine, white bone china with a reticulated border. The center of the plate has a hand painted scene of a sweet girl, sitting on a log, dangling her feet over a lily pond...

Victorian Classical sterling silver tray. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Solid oval well with curved sides. Shoulder wide with chased flowers, scrolls, and open diaper in scrolled cartouches. Rim has applied leafing scrolls, flowerheads, and scallop shells. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 11239 (first produced in 1892), and director’s letter T (1892-1902). Very good condition.

A wonderful way to relax and reflect on the founding years of the Republic. A very rare Chinese Qing Dynasty Porcelain soap dish in three pieces. Lid, strainer, amd base. Each decorated in Rose color and white with gold leaf trim. The soap dish measures about 6” x 3”

Rider mounted on a terracotta dromedary. Traces of brick red, blue and dark brown pigments. The character seems dressed in European style. His round hat and waistcoat might indicate Spain? He is probably a warrior because what he is carrying on his back seems to be a shield...

Regency Period, circa 1820 fob seal with a translucent image of an 18th century bearded man in a beret, perhaps robed. This swivel fob is 1 1/4 inches in width with a beauifully carved repousse jump ring that is just shy of 1 inch. This is really a two-fer- you get a beautiful swivel fob to hang as a pendant and the built in hand forged matching repousse jump ring allows you to hang it from your chain, along with additional pendants if you choose...

Rare and important head of a bearded apostle, his face showing a strong and passionate expression. Polychrome wood. Eyes made of glass painted inside. Of Spanish origin, dating back to the 18th century, this head was found in the Philipines in 1978, together with the centurion head (see our stock number 1-1013 )...

From our European Porcelain Collection, an exceptionally well-painted 18th century Meissen coffee pot from the so-called "Dot Period" (1732-1773), probably 1740-1760, depicting a serenade or courtship scene with what is either two musicians or perhaps two suitors, attempting to curry the favor of a Lady, all executed in puce with gilt highlights upon a very white, hard paste porcelain body. Meissen crossed swords with dot in blue on the base.

This pair of porcelain goblets was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg between 1850 and 1862. They measure 6 7/8 inches high and have a diameter of 2.75 inches. They are decorated with portraits of persons of royalty to commemorate their engagement or marriage. The portraits are executed with photographic detail. Each goblet has elaborate gilding surrounding the portraits, around the foot of the goblet and on the back. They are of historical significance and beautiful examples of Nymphenburg...

Japonesque mixed metal copper tray. Made by Gorham in Providence in 1882. Lobed and rectangular with curved sides. Applied copper and silver ornament: Tree with blossoming branches and sinuous irregular trunk rooted in granulated soil; above a butterfly and bird. Ground engraved with wild grass in foreground and hills in background. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, no. B75, and date letter. Good condition with some spotting to copper.
