This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by Meissen before 1920. The diameter of the plate is 10 inches. The plate has a scalloped rim and a deep well. It has the most excellent flower painting. The flowers are bright and realistic. There is a cobalt blue border and fancy gold trim accenting it. The foot ring on the back of the plate has two very minor chips. This plate is first quality and has no other defects.

Opaline glass bowl in the Brocade pattern, from the John Walsh Walsh glassworks. The opalizing effect was obtained by adding cobalt oxide to the glass, and a complicated procedure of heating and cooling. The opaline patterns made by John Walsh Walsh were produced as early as the turn of the century 1900. Height "3 ¼ / 8 cm, diameter "4 ¾ / 12 cm. Condition: fine.

A Royal Bayreuth village scene with birds creamer and sugar. This 3-5/8" tall porcelain lidded sugar bowl and matching 2-7/8" high creamer were made by Royal Bayreuth, Bavaria (Germany) c1910-20. The creamer depicts a lady tending geese in front of a village scene with two geese on the back; the sugar bowl shows a gentleman tending turkeys with a village scene with turkey hens on the back. each piece is tgrimmed in gold and they have the Bayreuth mark plus a 22 pattern mark...

Outstanding lacquer cocktail shaker set comprised of a three-part shaker, tray and six cocktail glasses. All are hand decorated in red, gold and silver with a scene of islands connected by an arched footbridge. The islands are populated with pines and traditional Japanese structures including a pagoda, gate and teahouse. Sailing ships are in the sea and Mt. Fufi towers predominantly in the background. A pair of hand-painted French porcelain ink-pots or candlesticks, made around 1920. The larger one is 4 1/4 inches (11 cm) by 4 1/4 inches and 2 1/2 inches (6,5 cm) tall. The smaller one is 3 3/4 inches (9,5 cm) by 3 3/4 inches. They are in good condition (age-appropriate fading to paint). They are signed, 'Le Tallec Paris' and 'Made in France'.

This brush was made by the well-known Gorham Manufacturing Company. The design looks like the top of an antique steamer chest, with a Steampunk-like strapping-and-stud motif. The top is monogrammed with a fancy "R". It has the Gorham marks, as well as “1857 C”, “Sterling,” and the scissors mark for 1907. It measures 6” x 1-3/4" across the top, and is in very good condition. Photo note: the bristles are an ivory color, but don’t show up that way in the photos...

Drum-form neck in silver collar with tooled flowers and scrolls. Silver ovoid and faceted stopper with flowers and scenes of gallantry. Pierced silver border at base with scrolls and shells. Marks include maker’s stamp for Vereinigte Silberwarenfabrik in Hanau. Good condition.
