A vibrant and charming American folk art tinsel painting showing a variety of fruit and foliage in a white compote set upon a slab of marble. Wonderful condition, with a sight size of 12 inches by 15 1/4 inches, and a beautiful, non-period frame of 16 3/4 inches by 20 inches.

A charming example of Abraham Parsell's ability to capture the essential characteristic of a sitter and portray them in a wonderful naïve manner. In the miniature portrait presented here we have a young man with striking blue eyes and a mound of curly hair. He is attired in a dark brown jacket, black vest, and white tie and shirt.

The condition of the painting is excellent, with no cracks, chips, bowing, fading, etc...

German KPM Royal Berlin Porcelain fluted rim oval shape serving Platter with royal Blue and Gold rim, ca. 1920, 10" x 7 3/8" wide, 1 1/8" high, marked underglaze blue Scepter, and KPM in red overglaze with Orb mark, and some numbers and impressed mark on the bottom. The condition is good, some old dull scratches on inner gold rim area.

An English Staffordshire Compote, circa 1830-1840. Dimensions 9.5" in diameter x 5" high. Excellent condition. With 911 and 913 it serves as a set. Probably Ridgway or Rockingham.

This Victorian copper luster pitcher practically dances with joy for the colorful flowers strung around the blue band of its bulbous form. Beading borders the blue and rim of the pitcher. Equally exciting is the mythical figure on the beaker spout. Condition is excellent and still retains luminous shine even after 170 years of life.

A fancy hand engraved and decorated late Victorian sterling silver napkin ring fully hallmarked for Birmingham, England 1900. This 7/8" wide tableware piece measures 1-3/4" across the interior, it has the maker's mark for J.H. Hillcox and it weighs 9.7 grams. This item has never been monogrammed and it is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

A Victorian English silver plated biscuit caddy or barrel with a carved finial from the 1880s. This hand engraved silver plated Victorian English piece stands 7-3/8" tall to the top of the hand-carved bone finial, and the attached base measures 7-7/8" x 6". The engraving is quite fine, and there are no monograms on either panel; it is stamped 88 339 BENET FINK & Co 89 CHEAPSIDE LONDON...

Central oval frame with pendant leaf garland threaded through fixed rings and supporting oval medallions with amphorae applied to stippled ground. Frame rests on 4 leaf-capped and scrolled supports terminating in pierced leaf feet. Shaft is reeded and has applied leaf garland with paterae mounts, and supports large boat-form basket...

A very good Classic Period glass paperweight with a pinchbeck design. The scene depicts the "Descent from the Cross" and shows two centurions, Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus taking the body from the cross while Mary weeps at Jesus' feet. The pinchbeck insert is finished in a silver tone rather than the more common gold. The crystal dome is of very good quality, with excellent clarity and good optical magnification to highlight the detail of the scene...

A pearlware child’s mug with the stencil inscription in blue on the front, “A Gift from the Pottery,” in a cut corner rectangle with a seaweed surround. The top and bottom of the mug with a single blue band. The ends of the oval handle spread like a leaf. 2 1/8 inches (5.4 cm) tall, 3 ¼ inches (8.3 cm) across the handle.

Condition: no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Tiny rough spot on the lip and a little wear on the base...

Tiffany Studios gilt bronze Venetian pattern note pad holder. Marked on bottom: Tiffany Studios, New York, 16910. Fits pad 4 3/8" wide. Measures 4.75ʺ wide × 0.05ʺ deep × 7.66ʺ high. The last photo shows all the pieces we have in this pattern.

Offered is this rare and beautiful reverse-painted (hand-painted) Pairpoint Lamp, made around 1910. Overall, the lamp is 19 inches tall. The shade is 13 1/2 inches wide and 7 1/2 inches high. The base is made of copper, while the shade is made of copper-lined, glass floral-painted panels. Of the eight glass panels, six have hairlines/heat-checks - though the glass panels are stable...

Circa 1830 from Pennsylvania, this pieced cotton quilt features the North Star pattern. All hand stitched, it has strong geometric shapes. Colors are red, white and various purples. A little worn around the edges, color is still good, considered to be in very good condition commensurate with age. Coverlet fits over a double bed. From the estate of Mike Biggers.

Stranded high and dry in sunny Southern California, and wanting very much to go home to the east coast: a very large (35" by 39" extreme dimensions) clipper ship diorama/shadowbox. There is no glass---probably long since missing...

Large turn-of-the-century American Art Nouveau green glass perfume bottle with engraved silver overlay. Globular with short neck and everted rim in collar. Ball stopper. Overlay in dense and dynamic flower head pattern with interlaced and overlapping petals and pointille florets. Marked “Sterling Silver Deposit 67”. Very good condition.
