Offered is this wonderful, hand-painted, Victorian glass epergne. The epergne is 10 3/4 inches tall and 5 1/2 inches wide at its widest. The set is in very good condition (there is a fabrication flaw typical of hand-made glass items, a burst bubble - see last picture). Unsigned.

An extremely rare Chaffers porcelain hexagonal beaker, painted in pale and dark tones of blue. The sides depict a scene of a seated lady holding a bunch of flowers, a rock out of which grow similar flowers, a child jumping into the air, and two bare trees on a hill. The interior has a lattice and root border, while the underneath of the beaker has 4 pseudo Chinese characters...

A wonderful example of a rare Dr. Wall Worcester tea canister of fluted oval "French shape." There are several variations of the Hop Trellis pattern, with this one being less common. All versions of the pattern are highly collected. In the case of this variety, the upper border is a deep blue, while the lower border is a turquoise cailloute (a lacy network of oval or circular outlines, from the French, meaning "pebbled")...

25 1/2" by 26" red, white and blue neckerchief, hand hemmed with the tiniest of stitches. It is in excellent condition and has embroidered initials LZ in one corner. It came in a textile lot of shaker items. LZ in one corner. Circa 1840

A pair of small Doulton Lambeth Silicon jars, the inside salt glazed as to be used for pickles relish or the like, the outside meticulously worked with applied and incised stylized leaves and pearl borders in beige and blue. Impressed mark Doulton Silicon Lambeth and year mark 1883. Height "2¼/ 6 cm, diameter "3½/ 8,5 cm. Condition: fine.

A very beautiful composed faience plate in brown, blue, green, and yellow colors on a white base. In Rococo decoration around 1750 - 1770. Condition: the plat as rim frittering according to age. It also has a minor hairline only visible from underside. Measurement: 25 cm = 9.8 in

These little handmade Civil War era dolls are some of my favorite. This one has on a heavy satin dress with a brown egg wash chintz cotton petticoat. she has a net bonnet adorned with a white ribbon over real hair. She is wearing the tiniest metal eye glasses I have ever seen. She has little rolled arms and a stump body that never had legs. Her dress is melting a bit above her waist and there is a crack in the nut shell but an old one and it is hard to see because she is so small...

A lovely renaissance style pewter flagon or jug, made by Ulrich Appel in Nuremberg, Germany c. mid-late 17th. century.

Ulrich Appel became a master of pewter in 1659 and this vessel would have been made shortly thereafter.

Very nice glass calabash in aqua blue. One side features hands clasped across a patriotic shield surrounded by stars and olive branches and the word "Union". The other side is decorated with an American eagle grasping a banner, shield, arrows and olive branches. The calabash has a polished pontil on the bottom and an applied lip at the neck.

Origin: America, mid-19th century. Condition: excellent, no cracks or chips, nice molded detail, the pontil has some brownish surface discoloration...

This porcelain charger or platter was produced in Germany by Meissen between 1860 and 1880. It has the first quality blue crossed swords marking under the glaze. It is 11 inches in diameter and 2 inches deep. There is a 2 inch reticulated border. The center of the charger has a ring of tiny hand painted flowers in pastel colors. Directly in the center is a delicate medallion that looks like a snow flake...

A long hat feather drapes gracefully along his arm. The horn is raised expectantly while the other hand rests on his sword. The woman wears a bodice-revealing fitted hip-length coat over a pleated skirt. Her braids are coiled in the back and her hat sports a jaunty feather...

This two piece porcelain bowl with underplate was produced in the United States by Pickard around 1910. The underplate has a diameter of 10 1/8 inches and the bowl is 8 1/8 inches in diameter and 3 1/8 inches high. There is a gold leaf covering the mark from the porcelain manufacturer with the Pickard mark on it. The set is octagonal shaped. It is hand painted with delicate pink roses and gilded flourishes. Victorian Pietra Dura earrings of a butterfly, set in 9K gold. Pietra dura is a form of micro-mosaic made with pieces of hard stone such as agate, and cemented into black marble. It is also known as Florentine mosaic as Florence, Italy was the center of manufacture of these wonderful pieces. Red is a particularly rare color to find in Pietra dura. The earrings are set onto 14K ear wires.

Absolutely beautiful, very heavy, sterling tray.  It measures 22" long x 14 1/2" wide x 1" tall and weighs 2045 grams.  It is heavily decorated with flowers and leaves.  It is marked on the bottom "sterling" with what appears to be a beehive.  It is rare to find a sterling tray of this weight and beauty.

A Russian gold (12 or 14 carat) elasticized bracelet. The center of the bracelet displays the shape of a flower made with half pearls and an emerald is located in the center. Made circa 1800-1810. The original jewelry case is included.
