A very nice scrambled glass paperweight by the New England Glass Company. The weight is well-packed with a colorful assortment of canes and twists. Visually, the set-up extends all the way to the periphery when viewed directly from the top. The glass is very clear.

Very unusual glass paperweight from the New England Glass Company. The weight is worked in a patriotic theme with shards of red, white and blue opaque glass rods making up the scrambled design--possibly in celebration of America's centennial in 1876. The center of the setup is punctuated with a large icepick bubble--a technique I have never seen used in an American scrambled weight. There is also a rare silhouette cane of a pine tree. A nice South Jersey glass paperweight with a frit “Home Sweet Home” design. The motif features a log cabin with puffs of smoke coming out of the chimney, surrounded by the “Home Sweet Home” legend and a laurel wreath bough at the bottom. The top is cut with a single printy. The bottom is flat and polished, without the incised ring that appears around the periphery of many South Jersey weights.

Rare hammered brass three-handled loving cup or wedding cup from Russia's Imperial era. The tapering form is nicely accented with forged strap handles attached to the sides with copper rivets. The bottom is stamped with the Imperial Romanov double eagle and the maker's name.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Spode around 1800. The saucer is 5 5/8 inches in diameter and it is 1 1/2 inches deep. The cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The cup has the London shape. The ground color is a soft pink. There are reserves inside the cup and around the saucer containing colorfully hand painted birds. Circa late 19th century needlework in cream and red, 11 3/4" by 9 3/4" plus Victorian style wood frame with grape leaves in the corners, wrapped around a board. The birds remind of those seen on American salt glaze cobalt ceramic pieces. Together with the folky framing, this makes for a very decorative work of Americana, and an interesting addition to your collection.

Interesting study collection of 16 miniature keys, each quite rarely seen since these would have been lost due to their small sizes, mostly 18th.-19th. century, a few probably 17th. century.

This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by Royal Vienna around 1870. The diameter of the plate is 8 1/2 inches. A hard to find purple transferware pitcher with central vignettes of farm life and genre scenes. The top and inside of pitcher have foliate decoration. The single piece handle is attached. Condition is very good with minor crazing and possible exterior crack for which we have shown 2 pictures. Very moderate age discoloration most noticeably on handle.

This is a Japanese antique Boro shibori and katazome hanjyuban jacket textile Edo period (1800－1867). The sleeve part natural Indigo dye cotton katazome. The body and back are silk safflower dyed shibori(Tie-dyeing) . The collar and lining are cotton. The fabric on the collar is a very nice Edo period cotton. A pair of good opaque opaline vases lavishly decorated with bouquets and sprigs of hand painted flowers as well as gilt rings at the top and around the foot. The bases with slightly hollow ground pontils. The style is typical of the French from the middle of the 19th century. Height 11 ¾ inches (30 cm).

Condition: no damage to the glass, some wear to the gilding around the top, especially on one.

Porcelain hand painted figure of a musician playing a lute(?). The original by Bustelli was modeled in the mid-18th century. This is a later copy, after 1887 when the factory was taken over by Albert Baumi and the old models revived. Nymphenburg shield and the numbers 59 and 0 impressed on the underside. 4 5/8 inches (11.7 cm) tall and 5 3/8 inches (13.5 cm) across the base.

Condition: undamaged except for three of the four tuning pegs and part of the red bow on his left shoe missing.

A 12 ¼ inch (31 cm) diameter blue and white delft charger made at Lambeth, London toward the end of the 18th century. The “Chinese garden” is well executed as is the border on the lip. A plate with the same decoration is at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

Condition: chips around the edge and a few places on the lip where the glaze has flaked off.
