Japonesque mixed metal copper tray. Made by Gorham in Providence in 1882. Lobed and rectangular with curved sides. Applied copper and silver ornament: Tree with blossoming branches and sinuous irregular trunk rooted in granulated soil; above a butterfly and bird. Ground engraved with wild grass in foreground and hills in background. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, no. B75, and date letter. Good condition with some spotting to copper.

A tall colorless cordial with a red cameo overlay on the cup and hollow stem along with shallow colorless cameo grapes and vines on the foot. The cameo overlay on the cup and stem consists of grape vines and grapes along with an image of Minerva with an owl perched on her left hand. The cordial is 6 1/4 inches tall and is unsigned.

A Gorham Copper and Silver Champagne Ice Bucket made for the "Commonwealth", the last of the luxurious ships from the New England Steamship Company Fall River Line circa 1908. These two cups are not a matched pair and were made during the late 1800’s. The one cup has more gold in the decoration, seen when looking on the inside. The painted hunting scene has a hunter in a green jacket blowing a horn, white dog following a hunter in an orange jacket holding a rifle and a deer that is running, and a hunter riding a white horse. This cup has two areas near the top section with internal cracks. The other cup is with a silver color that is also seen on the inside...
