Offered is this beautiful cameo glass box made by Thomas Webb & Sons of Stourbridge, England. It is 4 1/2 inches (11,5 cm) tall and about 3 inches (7,5 cm) wide. Except for a tiny flea-bite on the bottle's inner rim (hidden when lid is in place), it is in very good condition. It is signed in acid with the Webb cameo-glass logo on its polished pontil.

Fiddle dinner spoon from Hall & Elton (1839 -1890), Connectitcut, the pointed shape of the blade indicates mid 19th century. Hall & Elton is known to have made lots of silvered cutlery. However, this spoon is tested for a silver content of at least 830/1000 (= Swedish silver standard), and so probably is coin silver. Sterling silver was introduced 1870 in America. A wonderful and amusing hooked rug depicting an aardvark. I have collected many rugs featuring animals but have never seen another with an aardvark.
