Alt Wien / Old Vienna dish or plate – originally a stand for a vase or small tureen – with sparse decoration of stylized little tulips within a dark red border. The modern-looking design is a deceiver: the shape of the Royal Vienna Porcelain factory underglaze blue shield mark on the base shows a production date in the Empire period around 1800. Diameter "9 ½ / 24 cm. Condition: two small spots of glaze wear to the center, from the foot rim of vase or tureen.

This porcelain covered vase was produced in Germany at Nymphenburg in the 1890s. It is 7 1/4 inches high. The shape is Asian in style. The decoration is beautifully hand painted with delicate vines of tiny flowers entwined around strands of ribbon. The colors are vivid and there are accents of gold in the design. The rims have gold trim. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain plate was produced in France by William Guerin Limoges in 1900. It has a diameter of 10 3/4 inches. The foot ring on the back of the plate is trimmed with gold. This is often an indication that the particular item was exclusive in its production. The plate has an under glaze green mark and an over glaze gold mark indicating that the porcelain and the decoration are both from the factory. A hand wrought sterling silver desk set from F. Walter Lawrence, probably in collaboration with Gustav Manz. The desk pad measures about 22" by 15". Silver inkwell box measures about 5 1/2" by 3" by 3 1/4" and weighs over a pound without the glass inkwells. Silver pen tray measures 7 7/8" by 3 1/4". Signed on bottom of pen tray, as shown. This is quite the scrap book. The back and front are cloth covered in blue and white calico. The pages are also cloth with stitching around all the edges. A fine Lowestoft porcelain strap-handled creamboat, the ovoid molded body with an undulating rim. Hand painted in a dark blue with the "Two Porter Landscape" pattern, which features two figures in a landscape with trees and birds. Wonderful old brass smoking box embellished with equestrian motifs.

A 6 inch diameter signed Galle bowl on which the rim is rolled inward to give the bowl 3 lobes.. The dark red overlay of fuschia blossoms and leaves is laid on a nearly colorless ground with a satin finish. The bowl is 3 inches deep and has a ground pontil.

This is a rare well modeled and detailed 19th century porcelain elephant by Samson. It is based upon an outstanding 1680 Japanese Kakiemon model, which, in turn, was derived from Chinese prototypes. The piece is eleven inches in height and is enameled in red and cobalt.

Lovely 18K stone coral ring with 8 small diamonds. Five stone rings were classic Victorian forms. Our ring has smooth polished cabachon coral stones and ten small perfect flat cut diamonds at each corner. During Victorian times and earlier, coral was believed to have mystical properties and to ward off illness. The rose pink color was the most sought after. The ring is a size 8 and can be sized.

A wonderful English lead metal gadrooned ale glass dating from the late 17th century. It has a flared round funnel bowl, and teared shoulder and basal knops above a folded foot. Of a lovely dark metal with superb striations and tooling marks, this glass stands 5 1/2 inches tall, with a bowl diameter of 2 7/16 inches and a foot diameter of 2 3/4 inches. Perfect condition.
