A Compete Set of Five Pair of Diamond Brass Candlesticks. The Original Three Pairs (Ace of Diamonds, King of Diamonds and Queen of Diamonds) were Designed to Commemorate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee (1837-1897). The Remaining Two Pairs (Prince of Diamonds and Princess of Diamonds) came out in 1901, after Victoria's Death. There are several ding and scratches on the individual pieces, but overall in very good condition. The full set is a rare occurrence.

Offered is this beautiful, peachblow glass vase, made around the turn of the 20th century, probably by Thomas Webb & Sons of Stourbridge, England. As mentioned for other similar items on the site, this type ware is often mistakenly referred to as Leeds and featheredge. In reality, many factories other than Leeds made items of this nature, and the type edge here is more properly called a molded edge. This particular plate was made by Riley, and is indicated as such with an impressed mark on the back. Being able to identify the maker does increase the value to some extent. Also, green-edged wares are considerably less common than blue.

Large old Chinese rosewood stand on 5 small feet. Well constructed, it is very sturdy and will hold a lot of weight. There appears to be a repair on the inner bottom, but when we tried to move the piece in question, it would not budge. Therefore there are absolutely no condition issues with this stand. Measures 3.25" (8.9 cm) high, and about 8.5" (21.6 cm) diameter (see 2nd photo).

The fully ribbed round funnel bowl on this glass elevates it above the ordinary into an elegant and striking wine glass. The double series opaque twist stem consists of a spiral band surrounding a single spiral tape. Rough snapped pontil. There has been a slight polish to a small section of the foot, probably to remove a nick, as it has not reduced the foot size at all.

An extremely rare matching pair of large pewter wine jugs, Germany, Marburg, dated 1740.

Fantastic execution and made for a very wealthy client in c. 1740, which is engraved on the lid beneath the name of the commisioneer - JOHANNES HAAS. The jugs are stamped with a Marburg 'Feinzinnmarke' - a pewter touch mark from the city in Germany. The master given is Johann H Werlin, a meister working out of Marburg.

Lovely large silver plate tray with beading center decoration and trim, with beading around the edges. It has raised handles with wood in the center, and small raised feet. I can't find any markings on it, but it is definitely old and lovely. It measures 26" long by 19" deep and can easily hold a lovely tea set.

A stunning footed cut glass compote in Hawkes’ “Delft Diamond” pattern. While the pattern is not especially ornate, the deep emerald green color of the blank is amazing. The knopped stem has an elongated airtrap bubble that’s difficult to see because the color of the glass is so rich. The plain round foot is acid-stamped with Hawkes’ trefoil signature, which would suggest a relatively early date.
