A beautiful antique wine glass with a bell bowl above a double series opaque twist stem (DSOT) with collar, medial, and basal knops. Knops on opaque twists are much less common than straight stem opaque twists, and the more knops, the rarer. The opaque twist has a pair of 3-ply spiral bands outside of a central gauze.

Probably, our finest and surely the heaviest silver icon, we've had for a while! Russian Orthodox icon with an amazing wrought and chisseled Oklad, dating 1871.

This is NOT the usual foliage thin silver sheet oklad but a a heavy thick hammered and chisseled silver oklad in a baroque style with relief heads in each corner and weighing several 100s of grams in .84 silver. Fine gilt to the details. The icon itself with four saints and Christ with halo in the sky...

This pair of porcelain goblets was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg between 1850 and 1862. They measure 6 7/8 inches high and have a diameter of 2.75 inches. They are decorated with portraits of persons of royalty to commemorate their engagement or marriage. The portraits are executed with photographic detail. Hand carved Baroque polychrome wooden cupid angel, typical chubby features of the period. Original black and red patina with gilding. A Sevres Style Hand Painted Porcelain Hinged Box with Gilt Bronze Mounting. There is a different painting on the top, sides and front and back (6 in total). Probably by Samson. Dimensions; 4" x 3.75" x 2" high. Circa 1880. Excellent condition.

A fine naïve folk portrait profile of a gentleman, signed on the reverse by the artist Samuel Rowell. In the same hand is the location of Amesbury, Mass, and the name of the sitter, Moses Henderson.

The painting is on card, done in watercolor with gum arabic highlights, and is in the original gilded wood frame. An additional piece of glass has been put on the back to protect the written information.

The condition of the painting is excellent, with no folds, tears, or staining...

This porcelain trembleuse chocolate cup and saucer was produced in Germany at the Royal Porcelain Manufacturer, Berlin, between 1830 and 1840. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/2 inches and the cup is 2 7/8 inches high. The cup has two handles and the saucer has a reticulated gallery attached to it to hold the cup in place. A Chinese export silver 3 piece cruet set with spiders and lizards. This truly unusual and well-made three piece cruet set is in high grade Chinese export silver. Oversize (32cm)verseuse (pitcher) by Edgard Aubry (Belgium, 1880-1943), circa 1937-1943, in excellent original condition. Signed with the ususal incised signature "EAubry" and marked "Belgium". Cf. "Au Tour Des Aubry", and "Sel et Feu" by Fauconnier and Migeot.

Offered is this beautiful, aquatic-themed, crackle-glass ewer, made most likely by Bohemian master, Moser, around 1910. The ewer is 7 inches (18 cm) high and 6 inches (15 cm) wide (to handle-tip). It is in good condition. Unsigned, as expected (for similar Moser crackle-glass, aquatic-themed objects, please refer to page 96 of Gary Baldwin's book, 'Moser artistic Glass - edition two').

Boxed French Silver 5 piece Serving Set;13.7 Troy ounces total. Consists of a Carving Knife (12.5" marked Paris Acier Fondu), Carving Fork (11"), Salad Set (silver with ivory bowl and tines), both Fork and Spoon 11", and a Cake Server (11.25"). All silver stamped with the French Minerva mark as well as an axe in a diamond and the initial AH-presumably maker. Late 19th century. In original blue silk lined presentation box. Excellent condition.

A pair of heavy Bristol wine glasses, peacock blue. Mouth blown and made around 1800 – 1810, the rim softly rounded. The pontil mark of one glass removed by grinding. Removal of the pontil mark was often done on lead “finer” glass (the lead allowed for cut designs). On the other glass the mark is deeper and so is still there, despite grinding. Height "4 ½ / 11.5 cm. Condition: fine.

Ceramic or porcelain, this is a shallow bowl that might have been used for serving foods, measuring at the extreme dimensions 12 3/4" by 8 3/4" by 2" deep. The central design of flowers is hand painted, as is, I think, the gold decoration. As a paintings specialist this is not within my expertise, so I hope to be describing it correctly...

This porcelain ink well with tray was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the late 19th century. There is an impressed Nymphenburg shield mark on the bottom of the tray. The tray measures 8 3/4 inches long and 6 3/4 inches wide. The ink wells are attached to the tray but have separate lids and inserts. The tray is hand painted with vividly colored flowers and little sprigs. This decoration is also used on the lids and ink wells...

English, Bilston, 18th century, patch box. These memento boxes were popular at the end of the eighteenth century and frequently given as tokens of friendship and love. They were also purchased as souvenirs while traveling. They frequently started with the phrase “A trifle from...” as seen on this box. A superb and top quality example of Austro-Hungarian glassmaking at its finest. This is a set of six shell shaped cranberry glass nut dishes c1900 with crisp molding and lush encrusted gold decoration. Attributed to Moser, this set is certainly of the expected quality but we can't definitively confirm this. Set of eight(8) English Royal Doulton Cobalt Blue Dinner/ Service Plates, Ca. 1902, 10 1/2" diameter with fluted edge and beautifully detailed encrusted raised gold on true Cobalt Blue rim, the condition is good, specially details in raised gold is just beautiful. Marked "Royal Doulton England" with "Lion" on top in green and retailed by "Lovingston Brothers" in purple plus Impressed mark, also black numbers are "HB9482 & 9966" all inside gold bottom rim.

Rare 19th C Hamilton & Dresinger, Philadelphia, PA, American brilliant cut glass jar with hinged sterling sliver hand chased repousse lid. Beautifully monogrammed, this may have been used as a dresser box. Lid weight is substantial and seals securely when closed. In excellent condition, it measures $ inches high, 2.5" diameter.

A pair of hand-painted French porcelain ink-pots or candlesticks, made around 1920. The larger one is 4 1/4 inches (11 cm) by 4 1/4 inches and 2 1/2 inches (6,5 cm) tall. The smaller one is 3 3/4 inches (9,5 cm) by 3 3/4 inches. They are in good condition (age-appropriate fading to paint). They are signed, 'Le Tallec Paris' and 'Made in France'.

Edwardian sterling silver water pitcher. Made by Frank M. Whiting Co. in North Attleboro, Mass., ca 1910. Lobed and oval body on short and scalloped foot. Capped and scroll-mounted high-looping handle. Scrolled helmet mouth with applied rim. Pretty with nice heft. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, no. 2511, and volume (3 1/2 pts). Very good condition.

A fine English drinking glass with a pointed round funnel bowl engraved with grapes and vines above a double merise (rare) and a short plain stem section, all above a multiple-spiral air twist (MSAT) stem with an inverted baluster shoulder knop and an angular medial knop. The plain section, although short, combined with the air twist might allow classifying this glass as a composite stem type. Conical foot with a rough snapped pontil.

6 3/8: tall, 2 1/4" bowl diameter, 2 5/8" foot diameter.

A wonderful Barr Flight Barr Worcester porcelain coffee can painted by Thomas Baxter or William Doe, the two Worcester decorators who did the finest feather painting. This beautiful example features 4 glorious feathers, a gilded Greek key border, and a gilded ring handle. The bottom is marked with an impressed crown above "BFB".

The condition of this little gem is superb, looking fresh from the factory with absolutely no issues. The height is 2 3/8" with a diameter of 2 1/2"

A small bud vase, enamel on copper, France c 1900, possibly Limoges. Decoration of a branch of thistles in Japonisme style over a guilloché patterned ground, the interior a brilliant blue. Height "2 ¼ / 6 cm. Condition: some wear around mouth rim and base (cf. pics).

A beautiful Rosaline and ivory glass compote and creamer made by either Steuben or Stevens & Williams. The compote is 7 inches wide and 4 inches high. The creamer is 5 inches wide (to handle-tip) and 2 1/2 inches high. Both are in fine condition without chips, cracks or repairs. Broad polished pontil on creamer.
