A set of eight hand painted porcelain plates with scenic views as listed below. The lips with a peach ground and some gilding. Located in the center of each plate is the hand painted scene. The pattern number “833” and the location, painted in script in red enamel, is on the back of most of them. They were made and decorated in Britain, possibly Aynsley, circa 1880. 8 7/8 inches (20.3 cm) diameter.

Condition: No chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs...

Pretty French faience plate exuberantly decorated with vases of carnations, sprays of bluebells and colorful insects. The plate has a deep rim and the edges are finished in a nice curved pattern. The back of the plate is marked "Jardin" in underglaze blue.

Origin: France, early 19th century. Condition: no body cracks or chips; glaze wear along rim; normal glaze crackling. Size: 10-1/4" diameter.

Lovely 84 standard silver pickle fork with traditional engraved decoration on both the front and back of the handle, and on the back of the tines. Fully hallmarked for Moscow, 1895. The assayer's mark is that of A. Sevyer. The maker's mark is "NA" (transliterated).

Origin: Moscow, Russia, 1895. Condition: excellent, a tiny bend at the tip of one tine. Size: 4-1/4" long.

21124692 A very pretty Mount Washington satin finish Burmese jar decorated with daisies. The jar is 3 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter. There is no lid, but otherwise in excellent condition. There are several examples of this piece shown in Wilson’s “Mt. Washington & Pairpoint Glass” volume 1 and Sisk “Mt. Washington Art Glass.”

A Footed English Staffordshire Double-handled Compote dish with a Ribbon and Garland pattern; by Watford, 1860. Dimensions 11.5" long x 8.5" wide. Excellent condition.

Offered is this rare hand-painted 'Collars and Cuffs' lamp, made by Wavecrest around 1890. Overall, the lamp is 22 1/4 inches tall. The bottom glass part is 7 3/4 inches wide and 4 3/4 inches tall. The top glass shade is 9 inches wide and 7 1/2 inches tall. The chimney is 11 3/4 inches long and 3 1/2 inches wide. The lamp is in very good condition and the electrical wiring is in good condition (there is some age-appropriate tarnishing to the metal parts)...

Offered is this rare New England Glass Company's 'Fruit on Latticinio' paperweght, made around 1849 by Francois Pierre (after he left Baccarat Company and joined NEGC). The paperweight is approximately 2 1/2 inches wide and 1 5/8 inches tall. Polished pontil. It is in good condition - there is the expected, age-appropriate wear to the base of the paperweight (see 5th picture) and a few fabrication-holes (cannot be felt from the outside) inside the paperweight (see 3rd picture)...

It has been a long while since we have offered a Massier duck for sale, due in no small part to their rarity. This duck was expertly modeled in the studio of Jerome Massier around the turn of the 20th century using the vivid and, in this case slightly iridescent glazes for which he and his cousins were justly famed. The duck is standing on what we surmise is a sandy beach, adorned with rich green, brown, and off white colors, beak slightly open...

An early Phoenix Art Glass hobnail sandwich peachblow pitcher. Graduating from shades of pink to yellow/cream, this pitcher features an applied clear satin reeded handle. A delightful piece to add to you collection, it is in excellent antique condition and measures 4.5 inches high x 5" diameter. Dates 1880's.

Beautiful New England Glass Company Plated Amberina tumbler. This rare tumbler is 3 3/4 inches tall, 2 3/8 inches in diameter at the base and 2 ½ inch diameter at the top. This nicely colored piece shades from red at the top to pale yellow at the base, cased over a pale cream liner. There are nine vertical ribs on the tumbler, a polished pontil mark and the rim is fire polished.

Copeland Spode: six small blue and white cups and saucers and a milk jug, a part toy tea service. All transfer-printed in the Italian pattern, early 20th century. Height of the little jug:/ "1 ¾ / 4,3 cm, of the cups: 2 ¼"/5,5 cm, diam. of saucers: 4"/10,5 cm. All marked Copeland Spode´s Italian England. Condition: one saucer with a discreet star crack, otherwise fine.

A Large Round Copeland Tray or Platter in Blue on a White background with a Scalloped Rim with a Gold Edge. The dimension is 15" in diameter, with a height of 1.5". The date mark is for 1881, with the Copeland imprint on the underside. In excellent condition.

A beautiful Peachblow vase made by the New England Glass Company, around 1890. The vase is 7 1/2 inches (19 cm) tall and 2 3/4 inches (7 cm) wide at its widest. The non-cased vase is in excellent condition and has beautiful coloration...

Persian hand made silver items, used for deco-rational purposes, covering the tip of tobacco pipe. Each item stands 2 inches tall and has diameter of 1 inch. Great condition.

An earthenware transfer printed in colors plate with a floral border and the scene of a young woman riding a donkey sidesaddle while another well dressed woman stands by. The number “8” appears in a small cartouche above the scene and the title, “Promeade á âne.” The mark on the back seems unreadable, but looks just like an impressed mark for the French manufacturer Montereau and the date of around 1850 is maybe a little late but about right...

A Rare American Coin Silver Beaker by Eoff & Shepard (the mark was used from 1852-1861), and Retailed by Ball, Black & Co., New York (Became Black, Starr & Frost in 1874) . Dimensions; 5" high x 3.5" in diameter at top, 2.25" at bottom. Weight; 5.9 Troy ounces. Circa 1855. Excellent condition.

An exceptional and rare cameo glass bride basket on quadruple silver plate stand. The rose colored cameo is striking and as fresh today as it was c. 1880 when it was first created. The glass was produced by Mt Washington while the silverplate was produced by Pairpoint and is so marked. The basket handle uses a branch and leaf motif with the latter being applied over the former. The basket well is reticulated, the base having swirls and leaves, all standing on 4 feet...

Bird’s Nest sterling silver egg spoon. Made by Gorham in Providence, ca 1880. Leafing twig stem and nest terminal lain with 3 eggs. Bowl elongated oval and gilt with monogram engraved on verso. Marks include maker’s stamp from last quarter of 19th century. Very good condition.

An Early Victorian Ironstone English Flow Blue Plate, with a shaped Edge; circa pre-1850. Imprinted mark "Semi China" by either Clementson Bros. or J & R Riley. Dimensions; 9.5" in diameter. Very good condition.

Dutch silver figural spice box. Imported to England in 1891 by BH Joseph & Co. An egret gracefully scrolled neck, red glass eyes, and gaping beak stands on one scaly leg, the other leg raised with clenched talons. A beautiful bird with nicely delineated plumage. Hinged at bust. Dutch assay stamp and date letter, and English sterling-standard import marks including London assay stamp. Excellent condition.

A pair of unmarked Wave Crest “Daisy” salt shakers. The flat rims of the shakers are decorted with a dainty floral pattern and the undersides of the bases are embossed “Patented June 2 1891." The shakers are perfect and are 2 ½ inches in diameter.

A beautiful Findlay Onyx glass celery vase, made by Dalzell, Gilmore & Leighton company, around 1889. The vase is 6 1/2 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches wide. Except for the usual roughness around the rim, typical of Findlay Onyx glass items, it is in fine condition.

A beautiful and rare Shiebler sterling serving piece in the "Maintenon" pattern. Adding to the overall graceful form of the piece is the greenish-blue and white enameling on the handle and the white and pale lavender enameling on the gently curved bowl. While this form is quite uncommon it is generally found in plain silver and the addition of the enameling raises this to a rarity level...

A Gorham Sterling Silver Berry or Serving Spoon in the "Raphael" pattern, patented 1874 and dated from shortly after. It is 8" in length with an oval bowl of 3.5" x 2.5". There is an elaborate monogram on the handle, matching item #534 (see picture) and the condition is excellent.

23054816 Beautiful jeweled Crown Milano sweet meat. The piece has a silver plate lid with turtle. The swirled rib jar has 5 jeweled starbursts over the scrolled medallions. There are no missing jewels. The jar is 4 ½ inches in diameter and 4 3/4 inches tall. The jar is unmarked.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England in 1882. The date letter indicates this year. The saucer has a diameter of 4 3/8 inches and the cup is 2 ¼ inches high. The set is made of bone china. The cup features the traditional Worcester ring handle. The set is decorated with alternating bands of gold and yellow. Three child’s plates with moulded double daisy borders, transfer printed in black, Victorian, 1840’s. Impressed anchor mark and London, probably made by John Carr in Northumberland for a London retailer (cf. discussions on the internet about potteries using this mark in the early Victorian era). One plate with a lady and a little girl in a trellised garden, the other two plates with scenes from a series called Juvenile Companions. Diameter "8 ¼ / 21 cm. Condition: fine.

A nice South Jersey glass paperweight with a frit “Home Sweet Home” design. The motif features a log cabin with puffs of smoke coming out of the chimney, surrounded by the “Home Sweet Home” legend and a laurel wreath bough at the bottom. The top is cut with a single printy. The bottom is flat and polished, without the incised ring that appears around the periphery of many South Jersey weights.

Authentic antique 19th-century Russian Orthodox 3-folded brass triptych traveling icon. The center panel depicts St Nicholas the Wonder Worker blessing with his right hand, with the Book of Gospel in his left hand, surmounted on the top by the finial illustrating The Vernicle (The Holy Face of Christ). The suspension loop is located on the reverse.

A pretty Victorian mercury glass vase in rare peacock blue. The surface is frosted and enhanced with painted decoration of fuchsias an autumnal colors. Some areas of the background are left unfrosted for a nice contrast. Blue is a very unusual color for mercury glass pieces.
