A wonderful cutlery tray, probably of Vermont origin, made around 1840. What makes it so exceptional is the decoration, closely akin to "vinegar painting." An exceptional and very large Russian judean silver torah pointer, dated 1878 and makers mark of B.C. and M.A.

A Torah pointer is used when reading the Torah scroll so as not to touch the sacred text with the finger.

Stamped with Russian silver stamps .84 and very ornately made: On the top a finely moulded flower on an openwork hemispheric disc shape with flowers; on the upper stem two Rabbies or Jewish worshippers standing on top of a beautiful openwork filigree section; ...

Victorian silver baby cup. Made by S. Kirk & Son in Baltimore. Straight sides with allover floral repousse on stippled ground. Cast and capped leaf scroll handle and pointille foot border. Fully marked including maker’s stamp (1846-61) and alloy “11 OZ.” (that is 11/12 or 916 silver). Very good condition.

Copper luster and blue mustard pot, a footed salt and small dish, and a copper lustre and green pepper. All made around 1840-50, early Victorian Staffordshire lusterware. Height of pepper "4 ¾/ 12 cm, diameter of salt "3 ½/ 8.7 cm and of dish "5/ 12.8 cm. Condition: nick to the mustard pot lid.
