Fabulous chunky 18K and diamond-studded lover's knot ring hallmarked London, 1919. Unusual knot ring with three gold diamond-shaped squares superimposed along the knot band and table-cut diamonds embedded securely within the incised stars on each square. The figural knot can be seen on the underside of the ring and is almost as beautiful as the front. The ring is a US size 8 and can be sized.

A beautiful, green-cut-to-clear vase, made by either Moser or Thomas Webb. The vase is decorated with beautiful art nouveau decor. Except for some minute nicks toward the bottom (see second-last picture), the vase is in excellent condition. There is a catalog/exhibition number on the vase's bottom, which means that the vase used to be a museum display piece. The vase is 5 1/2 inches (14 cm) tall and 4 3/4 inches (12 cm) wide at the top. An exceptional sterling silver hand wrought cigar lighter from Shreve & Co. San Francisco. Heavy globe in organic silver base. Measures about 4 1/2" tall, 2 7/8" across and weighs about 415 grams. Shows a little wear and a couple of dings. Globe has silver mark differing from the Shreve signature on base. Finely hand hammered base possibly a custom piece. Great, rare example.

A pair of 10 inch tall Pairpoint candlesticks in colorless glass with amethyst additions. A lovely transitional etched Art Nouveau~Art Deco case with Czechoslovakian export marks along with FB 900 for silver content. The back has an engine turned design. These 6 porcelain demitasse cups and saucer were produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufactory in 1918. The saucers have a diameter of 4 1/2 inches and the cups are 1 5/8 inches high. The clean lines of the cup and saucer accentuate the fine quality porcelain. Each one is individually hand painted with vividly colored flowers. There is gold trim on the rims and handles. A stunning footed cut glass compote in Hawkes’ “Delft Diamond” pattern. While the pattern is not especially ornate, the deep emerald green color of the blank is amazing. The knopped stem has an elongated airtrap bubble that’s difficult to see because the color of the glass is so rich. The plain round foot is acid-stamped with Hawkes’ trefoil signature, which would suggest a relatively early date.
