Antique 18K and diamond-studded lover's knot ring with nice clear hallmarks for Chester, 1909. The knot motif is a Victorian symbol of love. It continued in popularity through WWI. Our knot ring has three old mine cut diamonds embedded securely within incised stars which are further placed in gold squares. The figural knot can be seen on the underside of the ring and is every bit as beautiful as the front. This ring is a size 6 3/4.

A lovely sterling silver fancy serving fork in an unnamed Art Nouveau pattern by the Baird-North Co. The handle is beautifully decorated with a thorny vine of wild roses. This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Mintons in the 1890s. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/2 inches. The cup is 2 1/4 inches high with a diameter of 2 1/4 inches. The fine, white porcelain is slightly molded with ribs and the handle is an ornate split branch shape. It is decorated with elegant raised and beaded gilding in Art Nouveau style. These are replicas of the spoons from the Edward VII and his wife Alexandra Coronation Regalia, as The King and The Queen of the United Kingdom and the British Empire, on August 9, 1902. Outstanding sterling silver soup ladle in a repousse pattern. The design is a very finely worked pattern of roses and other flowers and foliage. The bowl is deeply lobed and has a scalloped edge. The pattern is similar to Kirk’s “Repousse”, but not identical. The back is marked “Sterling” but is not marked with a maker’s name (a frequent practice until around 1910). Five Delft polychrome wall plates in the Peacock pattern, a stylized mix of flowers and feathers very much “en vogue” in Delft of the 18th century.
