A nice English double series opaque twist (DSOT) wine glass, c 1765. This glass features a flared bucket bowl over a stem containing a 12 ply spiral band ouside of a pair of spiral tapes. The conical foot has a rough, snapped pontil.
The height is 6 1/2 inches, the bowl diameter is 2 3/4 inches, and the foot diameter is 3 1/16 inches. No repairs or condition problems.

This is a rare well modeled and detailed 19th century porcelain elephant by Samson. It is based upon an outstanding 1680 Japanese Kakiemon model, which, in turn, was derived from Chinese prototypes. The piece is eleven inches in height and is enameled in red and cobalt.
Condition: Excellent, no chips, hairlines or repairs.

Art Nouveau sterling silver nursery rhyme baby cup. Made by Whiting in New York, ca 1900. Tall and waisted bowl with wavy rim and c-scroll handle with splayed trefoil mount and baluster tail. Engraved depiction of the Three Blind Mice, sightless rodents with alert ears and long whiskers. Acid-etched text: "Three / Blind / Mice / Did you / ever see / such / a sight in / your life". This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Italy by Ginori in the early 20th century. The saucer has a diameter of 5 5/8 inches and the cup is 2 inches high. The set is elaborately decorated. There is a wide panel on the cup and saucer that is marigold yellow covered with gilded polka dots. The borders of each piece have floral and scrolled designs circling them. These designs are painted over transfers. The rims and handle are trimmed with gold.
