A pair of sterling silver berry spoons of the finest quality dating to the reign of George III. The quality of the repousse and bright cut decoration is beyond compare. A very rare set of (probably) English 9-7/8" plates in a variant of the original Blue Willow pattern. We haven't been able to accurately identify this pattern with its distinctive border butterflies in our books, however they are definitely Georgian. This is an elegant SSOT, or single series opaque twist English antique drinking, or wine, glass. It has a drawn trumpet bowl and the stem has a beautifully fashioned enamel spiral gauze. Single series opaque twists are considerably rarer than double series twists. The conical foot has a rough, snapped pontil.

The glass has good height at 7 1/8 inches, a bowl diameter of 2 5/8 inches, and a foot diameter of 2 7/8 inches. There are no repairs or condition problems.

Historical dark Blue Staffordshire Teapot, circa 1830, of Lafayette at Franklin's Tomb. Made in honor of Lafayette's 1824 visit to the United States, this teapot was produced by Enoch Wood & Sons (1818 - 1846) of Staffordshire. In excellent antique condition, there is only one fairly small chip on the inside of the teapot, no hairlines, no repairs. The teapot is 11 inches wide from spout to handle by 7 .5" tall.

A very nice sterling silver pincushion and sewing box by Tiffany & Co. The pierced sterling silver walls enclose a sewing box (or jewelry box) with two hinged tops that serve as pincushions. The current dark purple velvet is a replacement, but is placed over the original box structure. The pierced handle has an area that can be monogrammed (never been monogrammed). The whole is raised on bun feet. The bottom is marked with the Tiffany hallmark in use 1902-07.

Extremely rare sterling silver oyster ladle in the 1900 "Buttercup" pattern by Gorham. Oyster ladles are very difficult to find because they were only included with the most complete services. They were used to serve oyster stews. Today, they could also be used for soups or even for punch. The back of the handle is marked with Gorham's old hallmark and also with the patent date, indicating that this is an early example.

A striking Newcastle Light Baluster (NLB) drinking glass, featuring a round funnel bowl finely engraved with the arms of George III. The stem has 3 knops leading into a central tear-filled knop followed by an additional 3 knops. Conical foot with rough, snapped pontil.

The glass stands a goodly 7 1/2" tall, with a bowl diameter of 3 1/8" and a foot diameter of 3 1/16". Good color and tool marks, in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.

Set of 12 English Mintons Porcelain Cobalt blue and Etched Gold border Dinner plates, 10 1/4" diameter, 1" high, with brilliantly encrusted and raised gold border on top of the cobalt blue wider border, and impressed mark "Mintons Est. 1793 England", "g6262" in Red plus impressed mark on the bottom. The condition is very good, no damages, gold etched raised borders have some reflections from the camera settings, all in excellent condition.

Hand painted with extensive flowers a pair of porcelain soup plates made in China and decorated for the Western market about 1790. The flowers are carmine with touches of blue and yellow and different shades of green for the leaves. The edges of the plates are glazed brown. An exceedingly rare beaded purse with multicolored glass beads on a leather base, and with beaded and wood toggle closures. This early purse might be unique because of its age and that the date is actually worked into the decoration as part of the phrase "Gift of a Friend 1632". The interior of the purse is of a very soft, fine leather, probably deerskin or lambskin.
