Amazing "Queen Anne" amethyst paste earrings set in gilt metal. This style of jewelry has been historically misnamed for Queen Anne, who reigned from 1695 to 1714, as so called Queen Anne jewelry dates to the mid 18th century. This is a Shaker hand sewn needle case make by the Shaker sisters and sold in their gift shops. It is a brown and beige silk fabric with a white flannel interior to hold the pins and needles. It is 4" by 4". and is in nice condition with wear to a bit of the ribbon.

A Gorham sterling silver miniature chamber stick or candle holder dated 1891. This Victorian era ornate chamberstick stands 1-5/8" high and it measures 3-3/8" across the base. It is stamped with the lion/anchor/G mark, along with STERLING 181 and the year cypher for 1891. A rare early 18th century French porcelain figure after an early Japanese piece, Edo period. The 5" model of a seated boy holding a peach is beautifully enameled in the Imari palette. A fine addition to a historical porcelain collection.

There is some damage; the tip of the boy's tongue is missing, as is the tip of the little finger of his right hand. The left hand has been broken and repaired, three finger tips are missing. This may be seen in the sixth photograph.

A large (15 5/8 inch diameter) tile of birds and flowers enclosed within a blue border inside black lines. The tile has the usual thick transparent crackled glaze, muted colors and off-white tone. 15 5/8 inches (38 cm) diameter.

Condition: no cracks, hairlines or repairs. Some very small chips on the edge, the biggest is under the glaze so it must have happened before firing. Strong supports for hanging on a wall.

A beautiful glass vase with 'chariot decor', made most likely by Moser. The vase is 8 1/4 inches (21 cm) tall and 6 inches (15 cm) wide at the top. Unsigned, but made most likely by Moser - usage of gold and platinum in the decor is a particular Moser trait.

Lovely and rare antique hand painted porcelain deviled egg plate by R. Delinieres & Co. of Limoges, France. In excellent condition, it measures 9" x 8". Dates 1900.

Wonderful figural sterling silver child's spoon especially for Easter. The handle is decorated with two chicks recently hatched from their eggs above the word "Easter" and an Easter lily. Interestingly, the teardrop shape of the bowl is that used in Victorian times for egg spoons. The back is marked by Durgin and also by D. Low of Salem, MA (maker of the famous Salem Witch spoon). Circa 1890. 4.5" long. Excellent condition, including intact gilding on the interiors of the cracked eggs.

Another fine example from our personal collection of animal hooked rugs, this one featuring an elephant posed on grass with fruited tree branches descending from the top of the rug.

The rug has a felt border, easily detached if so desired. The condition is excellent, with good colors and some slight scattered wear to the border. The size is 40" by 30".
