A well painted and modeled figure of a kneeling man wearing a black cap and brown coat holding a board with a white cloth covered with fruit. On the underside of the base are the poorly impressed the marks of the Gardner factory in Moscow. A similar figure is pictured in the book Russian Porcelains by Marvin C. Ross. A Dutch delft tile from between 1625 and 1650 showing a snake’s head flower in the center enclosed in an oval of three blue lines. The single blossom is yellow and brown. The green leaves on a blue stem grow out of a yellow bulb on the ground. The oval with fleur-de-lis on the sides that correspond with the tile edges that are also decorated in blue with scroll work and vegetation (?). 5 inches (12.5 cm) square and slightly less than ½ inch (slightly more than 1 cm) thick. Gilt George III sterling silver serving spoon with gadrooned edges and a beautifully scalloped bowl. Spoons that are completely gilt are quite rare. The reverse is hallmarked for London, 1784. The maker’s mark is barely visible and is illegible.

Circa 1860, A gorgeous Napoleon style gold gilt bronze hand mirror with beveled glass. Carved in high relief is a tender scene of a young man teaching a maiden to play the flute. A sheep is in the foreground. The scene is surround by 3 bands of enameling: black, white, and deep blue with a gold foliate design. In excellent antique condition, it measures 11.75 inches long x 6.5" across.

An oversized plate (10 ½ inches (26.7 cm) diameter) with a hand painted bouquet of petunias in the center, surrounded by a thick gilt band and the elaborately molded lip with the molding picked out in gold. The printed blue KPM mark on the bottom was used during the years 1847 to 1849. There is also an incised Roman numeral four and possibly the number 14. A lovely Staffordshire pottery inkwell and quill holder in the form of a swan. The wings are painted vivid shades of pink with black and gilt accents. The bird rests on a colorful "confetti" nest. The hole in the swan's back served as the inkwell, while the two holes in the front were to hold quills. This swan is a particularly colorful example.

Substantial 18K antique Victorian snake ring with clever open cutwork on the gold band as shown in the bottom layer, an interesting detail on this handsome snake ring. Snakes were a symbol of eternal love and friendship and were popularized by Queen Victoria during her reign in the 19th century. Set with 3 diamonds, each larger than the next, in a pointed carved etching at the top of the snake's head, our ring is hallmarked London and dates to 1895. The ring is a size 8 ½.
