A superb Derby porcelain coffee can displaying a wrecked ship and rescue efforts. Classical pair of Jackfield Ware candlesticks with turquoise colored Roman figures on a black background. This pottery was first made at Jackfield, Shropshire, England, in the 18th century with a red clay body often decorated in relief and distinguished especially by its thick black glaze. This doll is a tough little cookie. She is heavy and round and firmly stuffed with rags and something else that add up to being heavy for her size. She has spindly arms, very sturdy legs with fabric boots sewn on. She is all stockinette. Her slip and panties are sewn on. Her dress is a red calico print and is mended on the front with a red panel and one arm of the dress is badly torn. Her face has with button eyes and a pinched raised nose, and a very tiny red embroidered mouth...

A fine example of mid-Victorian Naturalism. This is a silver plated egg stand in the form of tree branches, with the English registry mark for 1871. This set consists of the four silver plated 2-3/8" high eggcups and the cast metal 5-1/2" tall handled base with branches and leaves. A rock solid play doll with a red calico dress an a blue calico bonnet. She has sturdy little legs and arms. Her face is blank other than her shoe button eyes. Her arms are jointed but her legs are not. She can be persuaded to sit. She is 16" tall and circa 1900-1920 She is a very sweet played with doll.

A very early pair of child's shoes hand sewn and pegged and nailed. The shoes are fragile but one is much better than the other. They are early enough that the soles are identical with no difference in right and left shoe. They are 6" long and 3 1/2" tall. circa 1830. These early shoes are hard to find and look wonderful with a textile collection.

As found a nice early stockinette doll stuffed with rags. She wears a wonderful old undershirt that buttons up the back. She has natural brown raw wool hair, (fleece cut off of a brown sheep). I haven't seen this done on a black doll before but it makes perfect sense. Her face consists of amber glass button eyes. If she had a nose or mouth they don't show now. She is a true off the farm doll with a lot of appeal. 13" tall circa 1890-1900

She has floss hair coming out from around the sewn on gathered bonnet. She is rag stuffed and is very firm. This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Berlin, Germany by the Royal Porcelain Manufacturer, known as KPM, in the 1890s. A fun pressed brass picture frame in the form of an early automobile. The frame is cleverly designed with vanishing point perspective to appear three dimensional. Apparently, it was originally a desk calendar and the original calendar inserts from 1907 have been used as a backing for the current photograph.

A delightful bronze dresser mirror, the entire frame ornately decorated in the form of two Pierrot figures and a smiling man-in-the-moon. Pierrot was a originally a Comedia dell’Arte character, but in the 18th century, he and the moon became inextricably linked in the French children’s song, “Au Claire de la Lune.” There are a few variations of this mirror; this is the most ornate, with the intricately beveled glass. The detailing of the figures is excellent.

Rarely do you find a pair of early 1800's Anglo Irish cut crystal decanters complete with their original stoppers. They are in excellent condition for their age with just a few small chips. The most notable is a chip on one of the bases that you can see when turning the decanter upside down. The decanters are stable, don't wobble, no hairlines, and no cracks. Measure about 9.75 inches high, diameter about 3.75". Dates Circa 1800-1850.

RARE Georgian hand chased sterling silver creamer with a cartouche on each side. One cartouche is monogrammed "AL" and the other is blank. This exquisite piece is in excellent condition and measures 4.75" high, 5" across including handle and spout. Dates 1820 - 1830.

Circa 1880 French bronze champleve enamel inkwell with delicately hand-painted bird scenes. It sits on 4 bun feet and is in excellent condition. All enameling is intact with the darkest red color being a beautiful clear wine red (which tends to look a darker/duller in our photos). This lovely inkwell measures 7 inches across and 3" high.

Fine large, 21 inch long, sterling silver mirrored plateau by Jean Francois Veyrat, 10 Rue De La Tour, Paris. This plateau features four cast silver hoof feet and a beveled mirror. In excellent condition with just normal antique wear to the mirror, it is fully hallmarked and has a wood bottom. Measures 21" long, 17" wide, and 2.25" high. Circa 1880.
