Fine Pair of Grand Tour Bronze and Ormolu Candlesticks in the Empire style with fluted baluster shaped shafts , with acanthus decoration on gilt-bronze sections and paw feet raised atop tripartite bases. These would have been brought home as a souvenir by someone who had made the Grand Tour. France or Italy, circa 1870.

We are not positive whether this is French fin de siecle, or American Art Nouveau circa 1905-1915, but in any event an elegant piece...

A huge and impressive antique, 19th century, silver plated brass, Baroque church sanctuary hanging vigil oil lamp. The massive bulbous form body, superb workmanship applied with three ormolu winged cherubs and foliate garlands with flower heads, bottom decorated with embossed and chased stylized leaves and finished with a large baluster form finial, bell shaped upper part of the lamp embossed and chased with leaves ensuite with the bottom...

Plume & Atwood manufactured this delightful glass oil lamp c. 1870 possibly a little later. It consists of a shaped white terraced base supporting a brass stem which in turn supports the amethyst font embossed with flowers and scrolling stems. The burner assembly is brass. The lamp comes with a hurricane chimney with crimped top. The wick, I discovered late, is in the font. The lamp proper is about 11". The condition appears to be excellent though the burner has some minor warping...

A fine Georgian period silver plate rococo revival chamber stick with snuffer, manufactured in Sheffield England circa 1800. From the Lumiere Collection of chamber sticks lovingly collected over the course of 50 years by Pete Macdonald.

Beautifully detailed spelter lamp of a school boy dressed in knickers and a cape, holding his book under his arm. The whole lamp stands 41" tall with an 8" diameter on the base. The figure of the boy, without the base or the font, stands 20 1/2" tall. There is a small chip on the top rim of the shade, but everything else is in perfect condition. This is one of the nicest lamps of its kind that I've had.

When we say that these candelabra are "le fin de siecle" we are referring to more than their late 19th century manufacture. They are superb example of Baroque style lighting which befits a place begging for a fine appointment. Why are we using French to describe these Italian cast brass masterpieces which must surely be one of a kind?

The candelabra have an architectural solidity with the square feet supporting floral faced blocks which frame a flower and scrolling vine motif...

A beautiful and elegant pair of coach or carriage lamps, with the original oil burners. The lamps are fashioned of brass and copper, and retain all the original features in superb condition, including the glass, caps, and holders. Measuring slightly over 16 inches in length, and 7 inches wide, the lamps could be used indoors or out, as is, stunning your guests with the warm oil flame. Alternatively, they could be electrified for either indoor or outdoor use.

A pair of Ellis-Barker silver plate 7" candlesticks with bobeches circa 1910. These finely detailed candle holders have their original removable bobeches, and they have the Ellis Barker EPNS pineapple mark in use from 1906-12. These table decorations are in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than the loss of the bottom felt, which can easily be replaced...

Having a removable ormolu drip pan above a bronze candle cup and supported by a turned and foliate decorated column with a tripartite scrolling ormolu base and mounted on a tripartite bronze plinth. Exquisite original hanging Gone with the Wind light fixture with a hobnail cranberry to white shade. The shade measures 13 1/2" in diameter x 7" tall; the whole fixture measures 40" from top to bottom and 18" wide. It is in perfect original condition, and one of the nicest we've ever had

An exceptional Weller Pottery table lamp with an usual base of forest ground with carved foliate stems with blue and yellow flowers. The body is surmounted by a black metal shaft holding 2 sockets. The lamp does not have a shade, and its original cord should be replaced. Condition of the pottery is quite good, while the shaft has some paint loss. The lamp sits on a carved wood Chinese style base...
