This extremely rare standing Olmec figure is 3" long and 1 1/2" wide at the shoulders. It is made from true jadeite that is semi-translucent at the right arm and shoulder. Antique Mayan large celt axe from the Post-Classic era (900-1500 AD) is a true masterpiece of pre-Columbian Mesoamerican craftsmanship. This Olmec "spoon" is 1 1/4" X 3/4" and is made from translucent fuchsite. It is generally accepted that these served as trays from which shamans inhaled hallucinogenic snuff. This piece is from the famous Keith Finello collection and dates to C900-600BC.

An exceptional piece decorated with 4 figures in each corner of the trapezoid carving; they are holding on their belly with both hands and each is wearing a headdress. This is an extremely rare jade picture-plaque that dates to the Late Classic Period around 700 AD. In my 40 years of collecting, I have never seen one for sale. These plaques all belong to one school of carving known as Nebaj-type plaques because the first specimens to be found in situ in the Mayan area come from Cache 14, Mound 2, at Nebaj, Guatemala. All are made of special varieties of jades of Class 3. This type of jade tends to decompose, as in this specimen, which lends to its authenticity...

This is a very rare and finely carved jade tubular bead with raised collars. It dates to the Costa Rican Nicoya and Guanacaste period, C50 BC. It is 4 3/4" long and 1/2" thick. It has a beautiful patina. One end has a single break (shown in the pictures). It has been professionally repaired and does not distract.

Pre Columbian Volcanic stone foot offering effigy , small red brown stone carved as a left foot the top has a face carved with teeth . We believe this to be either Tairona due to the face or Costa Rican because they did make appendage offering pieces in stone. Wonderful tiny sculpture . Size L 3" W just under 1.5"
