This is an extremely rare pure gold 23K gold cup from Colombia. It is 3 1/2" tall. It has been hammered paper thin and has some crinkling. I purchased it in 1986 from dealer Royce Hubert.

This is one of my favorites from the Heflin ceramic collection. It has been broken and glued back together and is missing parts. Dr. Allen Heflin found this piece in Xico, Mexico in 1960 according to his journal. He must have hung it on his wall since he glued a wire to the back. This is a clear representation of a man either emerging or being swallowed by Quetzalcoatl. It is 6" long by 5" wide. The imagery scrams pre-Columbian. It is attributed to the Aztec culture C1300AD.

I purchased this unique antler wedge or chisel from Jim Bennett. It has fabulous patina and is scored/grooved on the sides. It is 5 3/8" and was found near Wakemap Mound on the long narrows of the Columbia River, Oregon in the 1950's by Charlie Mitchell. A very rare and unique piece.

A superb quality ancient Pre-Columbian, Chorrera, ca. 9th–5th century B.C. Effigy vessel. A flat -bottomed compound vessel with a raised neck, slightly flared rim and three Anthropomorphic / Zoomorphic heads protruding from the shoulders, equidistantly positioned to provide a sense of balance to the overall composition of the vessel.

Details of the visages are nicely incised and delineated in repousse. Boasts a lovely redware finish and nice burnishing marks.

A rare Sultepec mask, possessing a great nose. This piece dates from approximately 500BC to 200Bc it measures 5 1/2" by 4" wide the nose rises 3" from the back. there appears to be a small amount of repair to the nose. there is an old auction number as well as a small tag with DeRoche on it, although I haven't spoken with Dave it is possible it was once in his gallery in San Francisco.There is a small chip on the right side of the top. This is a great mask at a great price.

This extremely rare incised Eagle effigy Aztec pipe was found by the famous Dr. Allen Hefin in western Mexico on 5/25/63. This Tunjo is 5 1/2" long. Tunjos are from the Musica culture, 900AD-1500AD. This culture inhabited the high plateau in the area of modern Bogota. Most Tunjos that survived are made from gold or tumbaga. Obviously, many were made from bone, but being an organic material, very few bone ones have survived. In fact, this is the only one I have ever seen. I have had several gold Tunjos and they are unique and beautiful and in much demand. Needless to say, bone Tunjos are extremely rare.

Peru Moche culture 200 bc-700 ad very rare solid copper beads . With a total of 19 pieces they seem to be all solid copper and many of the beads have designs such as birds, geometrics, melon shapes circles dots and edge trim designs.
